Greetings everybody from the World Showcase at Epcot Center at Walt Disney World. It is bittersweet to come at you today as it is our final day at the parks for this particular trip. We are making the very most of it as we shop and eat our way around the globe, while throwing in some rides here and there while we are at it. Please enjoy the vlogs and photos that are being shared daily as I take you on a virtual tour around the parks. And don’t forget to check back in with us tomorrow as we continue our Florida adventure tour and make our way to Siesta Key. Wishing you a fantastic Friday and I’ll be back-at-cha tomorrow. In the meantime, check out the photos and videos below from our day today!! I cannot believe it's friday already!!! Where do these weeks go?!? I will say, this has been a very productive week for me. It's also been super fun as I very much enjoy blogging when Tanya is traveling because I get to be a virtual part of her trips. I'm sure she feels the same when I'm off having my travel adventures. You might have remembered that a few weeks back I mentioned that I had a few daycations planned for this month and next. Well, here we are, a few days away from my first local travel excursion to Staten Island for the Great Staten Island Lighthouse Hunt. The event starts at 10am and goest through 12noon, but me and my girls are planning to arrive a bit on the early side. Since the starting point of this "hunt" around the borough is at the National Lighthouse Museum, right on the waterfront, I thought me and my girls would enjoy a light breakfast snack at Empire Outlets and take in the morning view before hopping back in the car. At this point, the weather forecast is calling for sunshine this sunday, amidst wet, gray weather for the past few days. On a bright, sunny day, the views are incredible! Since we are now beginning the college process with Gianna, we will probably also take a drive to Wagner College. This school has a theatre program and that is what Gianna is interested in pursuing. I'll have to investigate to see if we'll pass Wagner along the Lighthouse Hunt route or if we will need to drive there following the hunt and our post-hunt visit to the National Lighthouse Museum. As for Tanya - today they are enjoying their second day at Epcot, but this time it is mainly to peruse the countries in the World Showcase, shop and eat. Be sure to check out her Scoop for the details on her day! See ya'll back tomorrow!! -Travein' Elisa xoxo |
