Sunny Days are Here Again

A Good Day to You!!

Well, I'm happy to report, I'm finally all packed for my Florida trip!  We leave Friday night and I've never seen the kids more excited.

The rest of the week I have errands and last minute "to do's."  In fact, I'm just thinking I need to put together a list so I don't forget anything.

How is your week working out? I'm happy to report it's finally a sunny day here in New York. The gray skies can really get to me after a while.

Tomorrow is Throwback Thursday, and Tanya's turn to share a great story about a trip from back in the day.  I'm up at bat Friday for TC's  Foodie Friday segment!  This week we will have a guest blogger to share a great restaurant experience!! I'm so excited to tell you all about -- Stay Tuned!

Breakdown those walls

Howdy, Howdy, Howdy and Happy Hump Day to Ya!

As of yesterday I was back to the grind of my daily chores and to do's, it was semi-productive so I really can't complain, but my head was anywhere but here! 
I was day-dreaming (which equates to planning for me) about 2 up and coming trips!

I KNOW. I KNOW. I'M OBSESSED!

I was working on the preliminary plans for next years trip back to Scotland. 
This time to bike travel throughout the Outer Hebrides, and to tour the Scottish Highlands! 
It's gonna be EPIC!

The other trip is even a bit further out, but none the less SUPER EXCITING!!! 
My Euro-Ski Tour and to watch the 2017 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships!!! 
I'm literally BURSTING with EXCITEMENT over here, and the kids are totally stoked to be heading back to Switzerland - which we are all quite fond of to say the least!

Although I have to tell you that my dear Cosette is a bit apprehensive about skiing outside of North America. She's an excellent skier, but like most of us, she can let her fears sometimes get in her way.

Actually she has already expressed her desire to back out of our Whistler Ski Trip (2016), because she knows that is the location where I had my 2010 Skiing Accident and tore my ACL; 
Coming home on crutches. It sucked. 
But do you know, that I came back even stronger in the 2011 season!! 

As you all know today is W2GW (Where to go Wednesday), and this upcoming weekend is a holiday weekend! With both Valentine's Day (or singles awareness day - you choose), as well as Presidents Day! 

Elisa and gang will be heading down south to sunny Florida for a super fun time doing a theme park road trip!! Read more HERE..
(We're heading there next year and really hope that we can all do that trip together!)

And we'll be heading to the mountains for the International Peace Choir winter retreat. 
Speaking of which...I've gotta go pack!
