The End of a Wonderful Week The Travelin' Cousins Together! Here it is Friday again and I hope you've had a fabulous week. This has truly been a memorable one for me. It's kind of sad knowing that today will be our last day together with Tanya, Cosette and Dominic for two and one-half months. The next time we'll be together again will be on our New Mexico Road Trip in early October. Last night was a real hoot! If you have been following us this week, you know that after attending the Yankee game yesterday, Tanya, the kids and her Grandma met me, my girls and my nephews for dinner at Dominck's Restaurant on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. It was...an experience. LOL. Very unique dining experience for all of us with tons of great food and lots of laughs. Please read all the details of the evening in today's Foodie Friday article!
Cosette came back with us to our house and slept over, so today while Gianna is at camp, she and Kelsey will hang out. Later today, Tanya and Dominic will join us and we are all planning to go to the Garden City Pool for their "Christmas in July" fun night with food "from the 60's" and several Christmas-themed movies. 
I know we are looking forward to spending a relaxing evening together on the gang's last night in New York until their next visit in November. Here's to a fun last day together!! Gonna miss these guys so much! -E 
| What a Wonderful Visit!Visiting here in New York has been a blast and I really haven't been able to keep track of the days of the week whatsoever! But I do know that the day after Throwback Thursday is Foodie Friday! And this Foodie Friday is particularly special! It's a meal that the Travelin' Cousins had together on Arthur Avenue in Little Italy of the Bronx! 
As for this morning I am awaiting a visit from my Aunt, who I've yet to see since being here. Later this afternoon I'll head back over to Garden City to meet up with the gang for a '60's night at the pool, before sadly having to wrap up our visit, hit the sack (at a reasonable hour) and go meet Dave B. at Newark airport in the early morning! He's taking the red-eye tonight from LA to spend the weekend with us in Philly! Lots of more fun to be had! We wish that Elisa, Danielle and gang could come and join us, but it wasn't in the cards this time around. I know that we will miss being with them and be counting down the days until our next time together, which happens to be our Travelin' Cousins New Mexico Road Trip! Can't wait!! And with so much excitement happening until then, I'm sure the time will fly and October will be here in no time at all! I mustn't forget to mention the Yankees game that we went to yesterday afternoon. They pulled off a 4-2 win against the Rangers as we cheered, hooted and hollered them on! What a fantastic and full day we had with my little Grandma! She was glowing & had worked up quite an appetite for her BIG dinner!
