Howdy people!
Happy Halloween - will you be dressing up today? Who will you be?
Happy Halloween - will you be dressing up today? Who will you be?
Will you be going door to door and parading the neighborhood trick or treating?
That's what I'll be doing.
*All while taking game 6 of the World Series with me (via my handy dandy smart phone).
I remember years and years ago while taking little Dominic trick or treating and Cosette being a wee infant of only 2 weeks old while the Arizona Diamondbacks and New York Yankees were playing in the 97th edition of the MLB World Series and I was listening to the game on a walkman!
That's what I'll be doing.

My question is: Do kids these days even KNOW what a walkman is???
DID YOU KNOW: It was actually 16 years ago today that Derek Jeter became Mr. November as the Yankees battled back from a three-games-to-one deficit to come back and win the World Series. Or was it Mr. November?
When Derek Jeter stepped into the batter’s box, the scoreboard clock showed the time as 12:00 midnight. Halloween was over, October was over, and the date was now November 1st.
Never before had a major-league baseball game been played in November.
Then at precisely 4 minutes after midnight Derek hit a walk-off home run, winning game 5 of the World Series for the Yankees! What a game. What a night. That's what I call good times!
And tonight I'll be walking along and hoping for a Houston win.

While Dave and I have always done couples costumes, over the past couple of years Cosette has also wanted to be a part of the fun and joined in!
