Elisa's Daily ScoopAnyone Remember Sad Sam?It's Saturday Everyone!!! I'm writing to you today from Hampton Bays!! I'm sitting at my friend Lisa's House - which she has and continues to renovate. She amazes me with her talent for fixing up houses and turning them into beautiful homes. I brought Kelsey to horseback riding with her friend Sarah out at the barn. Poor Gianna didn't go, yet again, since her back is still bothering her. I'm hoping to get her started with Yoga during the next week, which I'm sure will help her back. We headed over to Lisa's house (Sarah's mom) so we could all enjoy some time together. Kelsey just loves their little dogs, Lucy, Honey and Bella! Speaking of dogs, does anyone remember these two little pups? They are Sad Sam and Honey and they are celebrating their 35th Anniversary this year. Why do I love these little puppies so much? I grew up with them, as they were the focal point of my Dad's business since way back when I was a kid. Well, these little guys are making a serious comeback into the marketplace -- with a few more fuzzing friends. What's more, the Travelin' Cousins are going to be taking Sad Sam on all of their future travel adventures. So, stay tuned for more pictures of these two international doggie jet setters. In other news, I've got so much to do later!! First I have to drive back to Nassau, bring my car over to the auto repair shop to get a new tire for my Ford Explorer. There is definitely a slow leak in my rear tire and after many, many times of filling it with air, the light still keeps going on. Then I have to run out and get Mother's Day gifts for my mom, my mom-in-law and my sister. I desperately need a manicure as two of my nails broke today and another chipped yesterday. I am so annoyed; these manicures - even the gel - just don't last!!! Finally, I have to get dressed and ready to go out to dinner in New York City to the Jeckyll & Hyde Club to celebrate Denise's Birthday. I will tell you all about this nutty, themed restaurant/club tomorrow!! Well, my friends, I better be getting going!! See ya back here tomorrow for our special Mother's Day edition, which also happens to be Travelin' Cousins 1 Year Anniversary!!! - E xoxo | Tanya's Daily ScoopI'm in VEGAS BABY!!!Happy Saturday Everyone and Greetings from LAS VEGAS!!! Today is Dave's Birthday and we're here in Vegas to celebrate and to set the mood! It's a fun city and better known as Sin City. I'm letting Dave take the reins on the plans today and I'm gonna sit back and be on Stand-By for whatever he wants to do and to have a good time! Let me catch you up a bit on how yesterday went... With only 3 hours of sleep, I was off again and headed into Bryce Canyon National Park! I had to go catch sunrise! It was chilly and in the 30's - I didn't pack for this, but at least it wasn't snowing...yet The wind was howling, and the snow was being held off but only for now, as it loomed in the distance. We finally got our shots off! It was beautiful! We then raced back to Tropic to pack up, check out of our motel, hurried back into Bryce National Park and checked in for our Horseback or "Mule" ride. (Now why didn't we just check out before sunrise - not enough time and we didn't want to miss the magical glow!) And just as we approached the corrals it started to snow..but just barely. We were met by Hank the wrangler and I was introduced to Susie Q, she was gonna be my girl for this trail ride into the hoodoos. Hank did a fabulous job at showing us around and pointing out the various features that this National Park had to offer. We had a great time! After all that fun and spending some time in the Historic Bryce Lodge and the visitors center, it was time to get back in the car and make our way to the last leg of this fabulous trip - LAS VEGAS!! We pulled up, checked in, and it was time to get this girl (who knows how to play in the dirt) all cleaned up! We had dinner reservations at one of my favorites at the Wynn Resort - Sinatra! Great food, Great service and Great music! Good times! Life is too short not to have them! Catch ya back here tomorrow for our 1 year Anniversary! -T PS We've all heard the saying "What Happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas"... Well I'm also gonna share it with you here in tomorrows Daily SCOOP! |
