Elisa's Daily ScoopLast Day in Disney WorldHey there folks!! Happy Saturday and Greetings once again from sunny Florida. Well, it has been sunny almost our entire visit - just not warm. But, today it is expected to go into the mid-70's, after a chilly morning. I'm headed back to Magic Kingdom today with my gang. This is going to be our earliest start day. Unfortunately, we were unable to get Fast Passes for The Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride for today (insert sad face). And generally speaking, the wait time is over an hour and up to two and one-half hours.  Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride The plan is to get to Magic Kingdom by 8AM (when the park opens) and get on the line for The Mine Ride immediately. We're hopeful, we won't have more than an hour's wait. We shall see. I was able to secure Fast Passes for 3 rides: - Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin - Splash Mountain - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Gianna has been dying to go on Splash Moutain since we got down here on Sunday, so she will finally get her chance later this afternoon! After another day of rides, we'll be having a late lunch at Tony's Restaurant and then saying goodbye to the Magic Kingdom and heading back to the villa for our last night at the Saratoga Springs. This will pretty much end our Disney 2015 trip.  Now let me tell you a bit about our day yesterday at Universal Studios. First of all, it was a cold one, yet again. It's mind boggling to me that I was wearing a long sleeve top, a zippered fleece jacket and my North Face winter coat ... in Florida!!! I even had my gloves on! Is that the craziest thing??? We managed to have a great time, despite the cold, containing ourselves to one park "Universal Studios Florida." We hit a number of rides and attractions including: * Despicable Me Minion Mayhem * Shrek 4-D * Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster * Disaster * ET Adventure * The Simpson's Ride

Can I get a "Whoop Whoop"?! Today is my little sister Brigitte's 24th birthday!  Holding my baby sis and wearing rather brightly colored shorts! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISSYPOO!!! She hasn't been known to be the type to make lavish birthday plans, or any birthday plans for that matter (I think all of the plan making genes were used up in me)...so I'm not quite sure what's ahead of me for the day! I'm just gonna make myself available and play it by ear. What I do know is that she's requested that I make her dinner and her birthday cake. So, I will be in the kitchen for a while! Brigitte went to get a new haircut yesterday and when she came back home, she walked in looking like a Russian Spy! At first I thought she was wearing a wig!! LOL   DID YOU KNOW: That this is the first weekend that I'm going to be home (and not traveling) since... Jan 3rd! I relaxed for most of yesterday and spent a good portion of day on the phone with a family member that I haven't talked to in a while - we had a wonderful conversation and time really does fly! Before I knew it the sun had gone down and it was time to head out to dinner! We ate at Seabirds Kitchen and as planned, we each ordered the Freshly Made Pierogies (which are new to the menu)...so darn good and I definitely recommend them!!!  And then once I was already stuffed, it was time for dessert! Knowing that the pies are to die for, I just had to go for it!
Dave & Dominic both ordered strawberry pie, Cosette & I both ordered blueberry pie. I was enjoying my blueberry pie so much that I forgot to get a before (I made a mess of it) picture! This is kinda funny!: After Dave tasted our "DELISH" blueberry pie he said that he doesn't think he could go back to eating his strawberry pie. At which point (Cosette & I) started laughing & Dominic who didn't miss a beat eating his pie, says to Dave "can I have if you're not gonna finish?" That boy can EAT!! Takes after his mom! So proud! When I got back home, I finally posted FOODIE FRIDAY that I hope you've checked out! Well, I'm about to take Dominic to his class and go pick up some ingredients that I'm still in need of.
