Museum of Ice Cream Coming to New York City
Well, guess what I heard today on the radio while driving in the car? I heard an ad for the Museum of Ice Cream!
More about this in a minute.
Yesterday, I had a reprieve from driving all the way out to the barn, and dropped the girls off at fellow riders' house about thirty minutes away, from which point, they bummed a ride.
Today, it's my turn to do the driving and spend the six hour day in and around the barn.
Let me move on and since it's W2GW, I am so excited to tell you about a great event coming to New York City...
Located in the popular and chic meat-packing district, The Museum of Ice Cream is a temporary exhibit which is sure to be a treat for visitors of all ages!
The only hitch is that you need to get there before it melts - Um, I mean, leaves. It is running from July 29 - August 31st, so make your plans now!!
The museum exhibit boasts a chocolate room, a see-saw designed like an ice cream scooper, as well as a swimmable rainbow ‘sprinkle’ pool, edible balloons and a massive ice cream sundae.
Guests will swing on an ice cream sandwich made for two and find their match/favorite flavor on a custom app in Tinder Land. Can you imagine! I am so excited for this and I'm pretty sure, the kiddies will be stoked as well.
Tickets are only available online, so be sure to visit the website below.

All in a Day...
What a great weekend, full of such fun moments and events. I really feel like today is Monday. Actually everyday since Sunday felt like it was Sunday. So I guess it's gonna be another week of me being all screwed up with what day it is!
Plus as you can see I've only got 3 more days to go until we hit the road once again, and this time head over to Sin City and the Sinfully HOT Las Vegas, Nevada.
But before that we've got another fun event happening this week, on Friday - we are going to see Mr. 305 AKA Pitbull at the Honda Center and we are ready to feel the beat!
So of course I've got my share of unpacking, packing, shopping, chores, errands, and of course the stables to check off of my list within the next couple of days.
Let's recap yesterday a bit...
Since you've been following along, of course you know that we were having a fabulous time on our "stay-cation" down in San Diego.

This time we were down there for the MLB All Star game and events. Making our way around the city and having a grand 'ol time.

Yesterday's events included the MLB Red Carpet Parade and the 87th MLB All Star Game.
And luckily we were heading to the parade early (to grab our spots) before if we didn't - we would've missed the parade!!! You might wonder why...

At the parade - whew (c)travelincousins.com
Well, because freakin' San Diego's Fox 5 News reported that the parade stated at 1pm - when in fact it started at 12p. Grrrrrrr
I was really sooooooo very annoyed (although I hid it well - because really at that point what could we do?!), as we approached the route at 12:15p - missing a handful of vehicles/players and most of the Mascots. It was definitely disappointing, but I was in no mood to ruin or wreck our day by allowing it to effect me or the kids.

And once the parade was wrapped up, we made our way back to our hotel and started on our way to OC for the remainder of my sister's birthday celebrations.

But before leaving San Diego, we wanted to make sure that everyone knew who we were rooting for:
GO AMERICAN LEAGUE!!!
We then met everyone at the movie theatre to go see The Secret Life of Pets.
I happened to doze off for a wee bit during the movie, and while everyone else seemed to have liked and enjoyed it - it really wasn't my cup of tea...
Jet's birthday (c)travelincousins.com
The rest of the day consisted of us watching the All Star game and the American Team win 4-2 over the National Team. Yay for home field advantage in the World Series!!
And then Jet's birthday dinner and cake with the fam bam.
Please be sure to check out Elisa's Scoop, as she shares some very yummy ice cream treat memories with you and a temporary NYC museum that will satisfy your sweet tooth!!
We'll be back tomorrow with Throwback Thursday and all the SCOOP from today.
