Labor Day in Las Vegas
Hello hello - once again from Las Vegas, Nevada!
So do tell, how has your holiday weekend been going? I always love a good three-day weekend!
Obviously we are here in Vegas and although I can't even tell you how many times I've been to this "Sin City", it's the glitz and glamor that just never gets old for me.
I truly love the atmosphere and service that you find at some of these casinos.
Now as you already know the focus for this trip has been all about showing Chaplin around. Before heading out here on this trip, she put together a list of places and things that she wanted to see and I (the good Aunt that I am) helped organize the schedule.
Since I've been here so many times, we've already seen it all and this was truly all about watching Chaplin see everything for the first time and capturing the thrill in her eyes.
All of this has brought such fulfillment to my trip and made touring everything all over again really well worth it!

There really aren't any early birds in this group, so my plan was to head out of the room in the mornings and do some strolling etc on my own - giving the gang more time to snooze. However Dave was totally game to come and join me. We went down for a fruit cup and some coffee and then took in some galleries and sights here at our hotel/resort.

Once I got the text they they were up and moving around, I went up to fetch them and off we went to a very late breakfast..

Pretty much each and every meal was at the Wynn/Encore Resorts and each time that we crossed the bridge we took a few minutes to enjoy the fountains and music.

We ate, we enjoyed and we were ready to do some more sight seeing.

Then before we knew it, it was time to head back to our resort to get changed and ready for dinner!

Dinner was of course back over at the Wynn/Encore Resorts and at our very favorite restaurant - Sinatra!

The meal and service was DIVINE as always!
But before we even ordered dessert I got awfully sleepy/tired. In fact, I was so sleepy and yawning so much that I didn't even dare to order my favorite Cappuccino...
Because believe it or not - warm drinks, no matter how full of caffeine put me right to sleep and we still needed to walk back to our hotel!
