The rain greeted us yesterday and it poured all day long. For some this may be a drag, but since we love the rain, it had actually made coming back to LA not quite as harsh as the rest of our returns. My mom picked us up from LAX and we headed back to OC in the rain. SoCal drivers are really not at all use to driving in the rain whatsoever - so traffic was definitely a mess, but we made it back safe and sound to the warm welcomes of Brigitte, Jet, and little Chaplin (who was super excited for our return)! Spent the afternoon handing out gifts, showing pictures and videos from our trip, and telling stories about our travels... Then it was time to get down to business - the fridge and cabinets were empty and I had to go shopping to fill them up! Dominic had decided to skip his class and take one more day of vacation and I decided that we should order some take out Thai food (due to the condition of the sink/dishes at dinnertime)... Someone had neglected to do his (Andrew's) chores & there was NO WAY that I was gonna tackle a meal after my long day of traveling, especially after seeing that MESS. Ugh! *Luckily he cleaned it all up while we were eating. As for today, well here at Travelin' Cousins it is: Where to Go Wednesday And as much as I would love to still be in NYC to enjoy the Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting - which takes place TONIGHT (I was hoping to catch it while I was there, but the date changes annually)..
