BRAND BALLOT'S TOP 100 MOM BLOGS FOR 2018!!
Heading to Scottsdale, Arizona!Good day world and all it's people! I'm back again. From where you might be wondering...since I've kinda pretty much SUCKED at keeping a regular schedule. Well this time it was from Denver - but that was a short...very short little trip. I left the OC on Wednesday and was back by Thursday! I've always been a juggler. And I'm at the point where I honestly don't think there is anyway possible to juggle any more in my life. Hence why having a regular Daily Scoop routine has been eluding me. Just know that it is my wish to get back on a regular schedule and chat with you each and every day. In fact, as Elisa had noted yesterday - neither of us had bopped on here on Thursday. Yet while I was chatting with her and sitting in Vitality Bowls in Denver I had the laptop in hand and was planning on bopping on, catching you guys up with all my scoop. Elisa was quite busy that day and unable to get on herself. I told her that was what I was about to do. That was my intention. However within a matter of minutes my information had changed and I was know pressured to work on my next itinerary - listed above - which you may have noticed. Yup. I'll be heading back to Denver and then onward to Sacramento, Dallas, New Orleans and Tampa! But for now it's me, Dave Y. and Dominic heading out to Scottsdale - just for the day. What's rather funny as to with all the travels that I do both near and far is how small the world has really become for me... Distances that may have at one time or another seemed much furthered to me (and still do for others) now seem like just a short hop away. Bringing the kids back little treats from places that we may have once frequented annually has now become quite a regular occurrence. Instead of me shopping and picking up goods at local stores, it's quite the norm for me to answer that the goods I've got has come from other cities, states, countries! It's really all comes down to perspective. Moving on here... This week has been an interesting one and more that was not fully anticipated by me. I knew that Javier (Cosette's boyfriend) was in town and spending each and every day with Cosette...she had even taken the week off of work to enjoy his company. Ya see, Cosette had never really involved me in many of the plans with her and her boyfriend. All for the exception of Friday (yesterday). There were other family members and/or friends involved in her plans, but I was kinda left out. What the heck was up with that?! I guess dear ol' mom (me) talks too much and ends up on center stage. As it turns out I also took the week off (for the most part - with the exception of Wednesday in Denver). And lucky that I did. Because it was a week spent full of hanging out with Cosette and Javier. Mommy was needed to step up and pick up the fall pieces when drama had stuck it's nasty nose into the original plans that Cosette had. Everything worked out for the best and obviously as they should have - because that is just how it goes. Everything happens for a reason and just as it should. All leading us up to yesterday and dragging Cosette and Javier all over town to run errands with us... Cosette insisted! We started out at 5am and hit the road. Luckily we took a few fun breaks while out and about and before taking Javier to LAX. We enjoyed an acai bowl at the Laguna Tidepools. We also made our way over to Santa Monica third street promenade and eventually making our way to LAX. Both Cosette and Javier were sad to part ways. So that was a bit sad. But then we sang all the way home and started talking about the St. Nicholas day menu. And lastly, let me tell you... It's HOT outside!!!
