New Beginnings | Another Monday! |
Hi There!! Here we are at the beginning of a brand new week! So much to look forward to on this end. How about you? Anything interesting on your agenda this week? I will tell you something - I used to hate Mondays. I used to feel very negative about the weekend ending. But, since I started the Travelin' Cousins blog with Tanya, I actually love the start of a new week. There are so many things we get to share with you and our week is full of an abundance of travel-related topics and sharing our upcoming trips with you, that I feel very uplifted each Monday now! I do hope that we brighten your day each day of the week! This week, is of course, the beginning of a new trip for both me and Tanya. She, Cosette and Dominic leave Anaheim on Wednesday for Arizona, stopping along the way for a visit in Sedona. The gang will then continue on to Albuquerque to meet me, Gianna and Kelsey on Friday. Tomorrow is Travelin' Tuesday and we will have our final and last installment of our Tanya & Elisa's New Mexico Road Trip blog (Part 14) before we begin blogging live this coming Saturday - straight from Balloon Fiesta!!! If you haven't done so, catch up on our 14-part series! Wednesday, I will be doing a full review of Great New York Cupcake Tour, which I went on yesterday. In a word - YUMMY!! Traveling will not stop us from doing our regular weekly features, namely Throwback Thursday, which is brought to you this week by Tanya! Food Friday will be by your's truly and I'm working on something fun for this week. Today, I'm headed to the gym for an afternoon class - trying to keep my 3-day a week routine until I head out Friday morning for a week. I'm hopeful we will be doing a great deal of walking and hiking on our trip to more than make up for me not going to the gym. Have a great Monday!! See you back here tomorrow for Travelin' Tuesday! -E | Hello Everyone! And Welcome to another week here at Travelin' Cousins! Hopefully you are coming off of a great weekend and ready to face week 40 of 52. I've seen lots of amazing things going on this year from a number of friends posting away on the various social media sites, and I hope that your year has also been one that you will joyfully remember for years to come! Speaking of social media sites, are you following us? Please LIKE our page and share this site with your friends! As I had mentioned, Dave B. and I went up to visit his mom in Agoura Hills yesterday, and on our way up we stopped for brunch at Crossroads Kitchen. Brunch is a fairly new offering for this restaurant, it wasn't super packed (we could actually hear the music & each other), the food was delish, and they had a Bloody Mary cart going from table to table. I had to order one, and it turned out to be the BEST thing I ordered! That's saying a lot, because the entrees were wonderful, and the chocolate croissant was AMAZING! But Holy Smokes - I can't get that darn (virgin) Bloody Mary out of my mind! The rest of the day was pleasant, and the visit was nice! But I really can't stop thinking about that Bloody Mary. I can't get that Bloody Mary out of my mind - I think it must be... LOVE! ;-) Today is set for choir rehearsal, and is a chore day for me, plus I'll be going over the lists to make sure that we are ready for our Road Trip to begin early Wednesday morning! We're getting awfully close to take-off and the excitement tanks are full! Keep up to date and up to the minute with all of our fun right here on Travelin' Cousins as we blog LIVE from the Southwest! To read all about our plans, so that you are not out of the loop check out Tanya & Elisa's New Mexico Trip blog - as of tomorrow (Travelin' Tuesday) we'll have 14 segments that we've worked on together while planning for the fun that we are about to embark on! We hope that you are as stoked as we are! We love to travel - that's how we get our kicks! See you back here tomorrow for Travelin' Tuesday... Until then have an awesome day! -T |
