Gotta get my shopping going after reading everything! -E | Travel on the MindHi everyone, and welcome to the weekend edition of Travelin' Cousins! So glad that you could make it! If you've been following along here on our site, you'll realize that I've been back from my UK/Scandinavia trip for 3 weeks now. And as you also know, we are leaving for our TC NM Road Trip in a week and a half. What you don't know and what I will now share with you is how crazy obsessed I am with travel. You'd maybe think that being home and getting back into a routine would satisfy, well it's nice in it's own way...but while I'm accomplishing the things in my everyday life, my brain is working away at travel plans and soul is yearning to return to some of my location favorites! The most current "day dreams" have been about Ireland (I know I just got back), Italy (I know I was just there), Scotland (I know I just got back from here too), Peru, Switzerland, and Patagonia (which keeps getting bumped to a later date on my calendar). There are also some North America locations that I look forward to heading back to fairly soon, like Seattle, Portland, Alaska, and Quebec (coming this winter). My little mind just keeps planning - it has a mind of its own, takes an idea and just runs with it! I don't try and stop it. I enjoy all of the flashbacks and future plans that I'm working on, and my current travel calendar is already out to 2018!!! As for today, it is the quieter day of the weekend for me. Just heading to get my favorite Acai Bowl at Green Bliss for brekkie (which I will be doing an upcoming Foodie Friday on), taking Dominic to his class, and then most likely go shopping and maybe even finally get my hair done??? I am still up in the air as to what to do with it! So indecisive! I'd also like to go and get tea at some point this afternoon, and then lastly but certainly not least, I will get the night off from cooking (not because we are planning to eat out), Dominic will be making dinner for the family tonight! What a treat!!! Tomorrow will definitely be much more of a busy day! But I'll tell you all about that tomorrow ;) Until then, keep dreaming and may all your wishes come true! -T |
