Ladies Night Out
Welcome to the "almost" Daily Scoop... That is soooo what it seems like these days.
This was how far I got yesterday before having to run out the door:
Wow! There was just something about typing in September 15
Where I was going with that was basically "where did the first half of September go?" I can't believe that we are already halfway through the month.
So as it goes the past couple of days we've been taking Goldie and Carmello to the park for lovely morning walks. Both little poochies get so excited to be out there sniffing the world!

The big event of my yesterday was doing a Ladies Night Out!
First off I know it's not as catchy sounding as a "Girls Night Out" but come on now, I've seen all of these pics labelled "Girls Night Out" and clearly they are females - but uhhhh I think there must be a certain age or maturity that you transition from Girl to Woman (because we all know that not all Woman are Ladies. LOL) However the term "Ladies Night Out" just sounds better and less stuffy than "Woman's Night Out"!

While the original plans to go see Eric Clapton in concert were not conceived to be a "Ladies Night Out" - Dave was invited to come, but his immediate response to my invitation was "No thanks...😘" quickly followed by "Thanks for asking though... Are you still going".
Well my darlings of course I was still going!!!

I made a few calls and found a few very interested friends who were surprised that Dave wasn't coming and opted in right away!
Later that night Dave had told me that he would've come... I had to explain to him that to me "No thanks" means NO. He objected to this trying to convince me that there are "shades of gray"!
Sorry but both YES and NO are commitments. And the "shades of gray" are MAYBE, WE'LL SEE, I'LL THINK ABOUT IT, etc...
Anyhow, our Ladies Night Out was of major success and major FUN. The concert was great!

Afterwards, us gals went to hang out and socialize some more. Great friends, great fun and lot's of laughs!
Which brings us to today - it's a family day and we are heading to the LA County Fair. The choir isn't performing there this year (as they were invited to perform - but not on a date that worked for their schedule). So we are mainly going to check out Cosette's beautiful photos and see if she placed or won the competition!!
