Kelsey's Birthday Weekend Celebration
We have a special day here - it’s Kelsey’s 12th birthday over here! I cannot believe my baby is nearly a teenager!!
So, we’re going to have a bit of a weekend celebration since we’ve got a great deal on our itinerary this weekend.
Tonight is Gianna’s first High School dance and I’m sure you can imagine the excitement. Unfortunately, it falls on Kelsey’s birthday. So, being the good sport that she is, Kelsey was fine with having our family celebration tomorrow.
The three of us will be enjoying a lovely afternoon meal at Spuntino Italian Tapas and Wine Bar in Westbury - this just happens to be Kelsey’s fave restaurant!
As for tonight, me and Kelsey will have a mommy and me evening, most likely enjoying dinner together and a movie. I’m thinking I’ll surprise her tomorrow after brunch with either a little shopping at the mall or perhaps bowling!
I’m also going to pick up a cake for tonight to sing Happy Birthday and for us to enjoy prior to taking Gianna to her dance!
Hard to believe how fast these weeks fly by, but it’s Friday already and I’m happy to bring you my latest article featured in ThisIsTheBronx.info:

A short one for today, but I’ll be back tomorrow!! Here’s to the start of a beautiful weekend!! -E xoxo
Tanya's Daily Scoop Covering the West Coast & the World CURRENTLY IN: HAWAII
Heya guys and gals!
Just a quickie about yesterday to fill you in and then onto the TRIALS, TRIBULATIONS AND THRILLING LIFE OF being TRAVELIN TANYA!
Yesterday was full of all the last minute prep in order to get us off to Hawaii.
Of course mani/pedis were in order. I went in with something specific in mind and when I couldn't find the exact color match I decided to opt out, knowing how picky I can be I didn't want to choose a color combo that I just wasn't going to be happy with.
Well Cosette happened to come along with me on this visit and could really not believe just how picky her dear ol' mom can be. It literally took me over an hour to come up with a new color choice! YIKES

Of course I had all of the last minute packing and wardrobe plans to still tend to, along with obsessing over an item or two that I didn't "need" but wanted to bring.
Yes I obsess - but you already knew that about me!
Anyhow the day and night went on and it was actually quite productive. Yet still knowing that we had to wake up at 2A, I still didn't attempt to fall asleep until around midnight!
Well hello down there from up in the skies high above (I began writing today's blog during flight).
We are luckily on our way to Hawaii, after a bit of a hectic morning or a really late night.
So we sort of had one of the strangest itineraries and left Anaheim Hills at precisely 3AM to make our San Diego flight to...
LAX at 6:15A, not quite sure why the flight couldn't go directly to Honolulu - but WHATEVES!
The morning started with Dave mentioning that it was 2:26A - 26 minutes after my not so trusty phone alarm was scheduled to go off. UGH
Dave asked if I'd still be ready in time...But of course I would be! Knowing that the kids usually don't require a great deal of time in the morning, the plan was to wake them up at 2:30A.
And just like that, we pulled out of the garage at 2:59A.
On the way to SAN, which is a 1.5h drive (with no traffic) from our place - we knew how busy we would be today and had made sure to send some special Birthday wishes to our dear little cousin Kelsey. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELSEY!!!
We hope that you have a wonderful day and it sounds like there is a lot of fun planned for your birthday weekend.
As for us, we arrived at the terminal according to schedule and yes it was still pitch black outside.

But this was kinda just about where the smooth sailing had ENDED!
