Countdown to Hawaii
The countdown is REAL - it's now only hours before we say ADDIOS to SoCal and get ready to say ALOHA the the Hawaiian Islands.
I've been sitting here fiddling with the idea of leaving my laptop at home and just bringing my iPad. It's a size thing. And I guess I'm too spoiled where even a laptop is sometimes too big. LOL
Well I would be all over this idea - that I have done in the past, but seems to always cause me headaches when trying to blog. UGH
And being that all my fiddling started to already cause a pain in my rear I have decided that I don't need this type of negativity on my trip and the iPad is staying home or at least I'm not bringing it in place of my dear laptop.
Well one of the biggest reliefs is that I finally managed to send off all of the Chinese Visa paperwork and applications. WHEW
Another thing that I finished up last night was packing for Dave. Yes you read that correctly - I actually packed for him this time. I wasn't just there as support and for advice. It was all me!
But before you go ahead and this it was some controling OCD type of thing, realize that it was his wish that I pack for him...I'm sure you remember how much he HATES packing.
The only thing I've got to say is that he better not do any complaining about anything that I've packed for him.
On that note, I still need to finish packing the last minute items into my bags and head out for a few beautifying appointments for the trip. It tough work being a girly girl (wink wink).
*But let's not ever forget that this girl is also a rough and tumble, down and dirty adventurous type!
And being that it's a Thursday I figured that I would leave you off with some fun Hawaiian throw backs stories and pictures for TBT (Throwback Thursday).
