I've been a Troglodyte. Have you?
Well LOOKIE LOOKIE who's here... I'm here!
Coming at you on Hump Day better known as Wednesday - although got to admit that I almost typed Tuesday.
I've had a few interesting days (to say the least). And as usual I've been in touch with my regular peeps but I've also been in touch and chatting with peeps that I haven't talked to in ages!!
I'm not saying that the past few days have been uber exciting. In fact if they had been exciting then I guess I wouldn't have had time for them to be so doggone darn interesting...
I'll leave names out of it for now, but one of the lengthy conversations did have me day dreaming about travel (these people known me too well - lol). And we all know where day dreaming about travel gets me!
It gets me inspired and then planning travel comes next and before you know it I have another trip on the calendar.
Take a look at a couple of these beautiful pictures that took me to "that" place yesterday...

Both pictures are from Spain and not all that far from each other. Just under a 2 hour drive from Seville and I must've passed just north of the region, traveling west on the A92 last year when we were driving to Seville from Guadix...

The cave homes of Guadix, or, Cuevas de Troglodyte, the troglodyte caves.
Troglodyte - a cave dweller
Locals have been living in these caves for hundreds of years. And we were Troglodytes for day/night having a lovely stay at Casas Cueva del Tío Tobas. I had no idea how much I would be intrigued by the history and beauty of this area.
BBC travel actually did a piece on the area last August - only a few months after our visit!

Ahhhhh the memories. I do love the fact that with this blog I get to look back at pictures quite often.
As it really is a favorite past time of mine and I’ve definitely had some amazing times/trips!
