A Day of Remembrance
Hello everybody and greetings from Sacramento!
*Not the most exciting place around - actually not even close. LOL We arrived into town last night after a long day that started in Denver and then was spent traveling and in airports.
Well there is actually not much to say about my time in the airports (Denver - Las Vegas - Sacramento). But I've gotta say that the one thing that stood out was that I was hungry...
And knowing that I would get into Sacramento too late to eat, I was hoping to find something to my liking at the Las Vegas airport... If you know me, the hungrier I am, the more fussy and picky I become. Sooooo in saying that although there were some vegan options - absolutely none of them sounded good to me! I was going to the dark side (which means I would just opt to eat nothing and not be happy about it) and I needed some nutrition ASAP! Luckily we were close to a Red Mango - which aside from being a frozen yogurt place, they also offer fresh squeezed juices! Hallejaluh. My frustration hadn't ended there... Once we touched down and arrived in Sacramento, we collected our bag at baggage claim and I had called our booked hotel which states that they have an airport shuttle to find out where we would go to pick up our ride... Only to find out that the LAME hotel requires a 24h notice to book this airport shuttle. I leave it at that I was pretty peeved and requested that my reservation be cancelled! I then called another hotel that offers an airport shuttle and inquired as to if their shuttle is for real or not. Luckily it was and I was able to reserve a last minute room as well as get a ride to our new accommodations! That pretty much catches you up to this morning. I'll be back to fill you in with the nonsense that I had to deal with today in tomorrow's Daily Scoop. And before I leave, I feel as though I've already said too much before stating how very much today holds a special place in our hearts and minds. It is now and will forever be a day of remembrance. Shall we never forget!
Love, Peace and Prayers.
