Happy Labor Day 2014!Happy Labor Day!! This day is never for me or the kids easy since it means that school starts this week and with it, the school year routines. Gianna and Kelsey go back tomorrow and they are not very happy :-( On a good note, they do have today off and we will try to make the best of it! 
SISTERS ON LABOR DAY
Yesterday we spent the day at Danielle's and the kids had fun playing in the pool and making the most of one of the last few days before school starts. Gianna and Nolan made cupcakes yesterday, which turned out so yummy and delicious. Vanilla cupcakes and lemon frosting. I have never tasted such good vanilla frosting in my life. Way to go Gianna on the frosting recipe, which she created on her own!! So proud of my little baker!

This week is going to be exciting now that me and Tanya are back home for a while. We'll be in full force planning our next trips and doing the countdown to our Cousins Road Trip to New Mexico - which is a little more than 4 weeks away!! Enjoy the official last day of summer!! | Labor Day in Las Vegas!Happy Labor Day & Happy September to everyone! Today, I'm writing to you poolside from The Palazzo Resort in fabulous Las Vegas!

Although I'm a Pieces, I'm really not all that much of a water person. I prefer to be laying out in the shade and watching the action, rather than splashing around in it. Go figure! The kids are having a blast, we're in the shade and the temperatures are still quite mild; so to me it's just perfect!! I sure hope that you've all had fabulous weekend enjoying life and capping off the end of another wonderful summer! Whatever your story is and whatever age you might be, it is my wish that great memories were made, and that you can always looks back on the summer of 2014 with a smile on your face and warmth in your heart! In fact we'd love to hear about your summer adventures! Why don't you share some of your stories with us? Well, today is the last vacation day of the summer for us! Why don't we do a quick recap from my mellow June 2014 right up until today: -Went to Santa Barbara for Father's Day weekend -Headed to San Diego for the weekend of July 4th -The rest of July was spent visiting family in New York & New Hampshire, with weekend excursions in Boston and in Philly! -Come August, I was off to Europe! Vacationing in England, Belgium, Scotland, and Ireland, as well as cruising the Fjords of Norway! -Finally capped off the summer with a weekend in the sunny and always exciting Las Vegas!

Which brings us back to the present time of today.. After our time at the pool we'll be heading for a bite, shopping, sight-seeing, riding the New York New York roller coaster, and then having dinner; all before saying addios and see ya next time to good 'ol Sin City.
