Long Island Fall Festival and Judy the Movie

Good Day!! Have I told you that October is my all-time favorite month?

Well, it's no wonder because it also happens to be my birthday month and my big day is only 8 days away!

Since me and the girls had to cancel (insert crying face!!!) our trip to Vegas, for which we would have been leaving in just two days, we will be spending Columbus Day weekend locally.  We have a few things on our weekend agenda -- 

These include:

• Packing, Packing and more Packing of household stuff 

Each day I haul a few more things and either put them out with the trash or I run them over to the Salvation Army.

• Try a new Vegan Dining experience

I'm ashamed to say that for several years I've wanted to try a fun and fresh little joint only a mile away from my house and I just haven't gotten there!  How ridiculous, right?
But, this weekend, we are going to have a little spooky fun at the Witches Brew in West Hempstead, a cute little coffee shop that serves a variety of vegetarian and vegan only menu options.

• Long Island Fall Festival 2019

Held annually every Columbus Day weekend, this festival takes place at Heckscher Park in Huntington, attractions include: four stages of entertainment, a world-class carnival, hundreds of arts and craft vendors, international food courts, beer and wine tent, a farmer’s market, and numerous activities designed especially for young children.  The best part - it's FREE to the public.
We've been so busy this Fall that we haven't made it to one harvest festival, so why not attend one of the largest in all of the northeast!! (click here for more information)

As for today, me and my girls are going to take advantage of  AMC Theatre's Discount Tuesdays and see the motion picture JUDY tonight.  

This motion picture is a biographical drama about the life of American actress and singer Judy Garland in 1969, as she arrives in London for a run of sell-out concerts at the Talk of the Town.

I'll make a quick and easy dinner tonight so me and the girls can scadaddle to the movies.
