Networking & Shopping Kind of Saturday
Hello and Happy Saturday!
Can you believe it's Columbus Day weekend already? Crazy - time is just flying by this Fall. So happy this is a three day weekend.
I don't have tons of plans this weekend, (which I usually like to have on a three day weekend), but we do have some things on the agenda...
Today Gianna is going to a high school football game with her friends and I'll be attending a networking event this morning. I haven't been to one of these in a while, but I thought it would be fun to meet some other local professionals. Later today, I'm planning on taking Kelsey shopping - she has been asking for a mom & me mall day for the past few weeks. She loves browsing and we've got our list of stores lined up, which include one of our favorites -- Yankee Candle!!
She and I were very upset that our beloved scents, "Moonbeams on Pumpkins" burned down this week!! We absolutely love this scent and plan on replacing it on our little shopping spree!
Kelsey also wanted to look for some shorts and sundresses for our upcoming Christmas trip to the Dominican Republic. As usual, we'll stop for some food! Lately, we have enjoyed Le Pain Quotidien. As two bread lovers, we really enjoy their menu offering!!
I'll take pics and tell you more about their menu in tomorrow's blog!
Sunday is open so far. I was thinking of doing something "harvesty" like apple or pumpkin picking. Going to see what the girls are in the mood to do. Then on Monday, I have to take Kelsey for a sonogram (nothing serious) - just a routine, baseline. However, when we get back, I have to take Gianna to the movies and Kelsey and I will spend the afternoon together. We may just decided to hang out in town with our laptops, just relaxing at Starbucks with a few yummy drinks. So, all in all, it is going to be a pretty mellow weekend. Sorry this is a quickie but I've got to run to make this networking event. More tomorrow! Enjoy your day! -Travelin' Elisa xoxo |
Parading, Soccer Games & Health Faires
Anyone who knows me when tell you - I am not good at relaxing!
It's Saturday and I'm still waking up at 6am to prep for another busy day. The first thing on our list for the day is meeting up with the International Peace Choir to Parade in the Tustin Tiller Day Parade
About Tustin Tiller Days…
Tustin Tiller Days has been an annual event in Tustin since 1957. The three-day festival celebrates Orange County’s agricultural heritage while providing an opportunity for local non-profit organizations to promote their cause and raise much-needed funds. Over the years, local civic organizations, schools, churches, and youth groups have raised thousands of dollars to benefit a wide variety of local needs. This will be a first for us to march in this particular parade, and we are looking forward to the experience. Since Cosette has already served an extended term being the ambassador of the USA, she had reverted back to Sicily! I'll be sure to get plenty of pics to post in tomorrow's Daily Scoop. Well it's a busy weekend here in SoCal and I've gotta goingl Until next time, -Traveln' Tanya |
