Elisa's Daily Scoop NEXT TRIP DEPARTS IN: NOT SURE YET
Boy, is it getting cold out!! Yesterday was sunny and windy and the temps really began to drop. Don't you love this time of year on the east coast? I certainly do. And I'm glad to see another beautiful crisp Fall Day.
As you know, Tanya is getting ready for Sedona trip in mid-November. During one of our text conversations, she asked me if me and the girls would like to join them.
I mean, who wouldn't??? I love Sedona and my girls have never been to the southwest. But, unfortunately, any other time, I would have jumped so fast and would have started booking airline flights - the timing is just tough with some of the legal stuff I have going on. UGH!
Not going to lie guys, this year has been super tough on me travel-wise. I feel like my hands are tied and I will be so happy when my divorce is finalized. As my beloved Grandma Rose used to say, "this too shall pass."
Back to today... This is a pretty exciting weekend! I mean, with Halloween on Monday, today and tomorrow will be pretty crazy with folks celebrating early.
We have our own fun going on with the Halloween bash at Dream Come True Farm.
A costume contest for riders and their horses is part of the festivities on Sunday, along with a show in the arena with courses and jumping. The kids are so stoked.
They continued working on their homemade creations last night and today, at the barn, they will do the finishing touches and any last minute tweaking to be sure the costumes are finalized, after trying them on their respective horses.
This year, Kelsey is going to be Piglet and her horse will be Tigger. Gianna and All-Star are going to be "Fire & Ice". I'll bring you pictures on Monday after the big Halloween Parade!

I'm currently in Riberhead at Tanger outlets. It's a gorgeous day for walking around with my doggie baby. She loves sharing smoothies with me!!
Unfortunately (and I'm not sure why) my wifi is awful. I'll have to cut this short and write a longer blog tomorrow.

Food and Fun For All
Good Day Everyone!
We are getting ready to head out to the SoCal VegFest. I've checked the exhibitor list and have an idea of what goodies I'll be aiming for to fill my belly with!
Jet, Andrew, and Chaplin are suppose to meet us over there sometime this afternoon...trying to nail down a plan and/or time with them is like pulling teeth.
We had all spent a lovely afternoon out at the festival last year and it was such a success that this year they are holding the festival over 2 days rather than only one.
I just hope they don't run out of food and that the lines aren't outrageous!
Then immediately after the festival, we'll head back to our neck of the woods, change into our costumes, pick up a catered tray of food (that I luckily remembered to order yesterday) to bring with us to share at the costume party, then off to the IPC costume party we go!
Overall it should be a very fun filled day and night!
As far as how yesterday went, Cosette and I went out to the stables in Chino to go and see Dream. The weather was pretty nice and it was a good visit, plus the flies weren't all that bad...until we were about to leave - then all of a sudden it was as though they woke up and were buzzing all around me, which of course I did not enjoy!

I'm keeping it short today folks. I wish you a fan-tab-ulous Saturday, and I'll be back tomorrow with plenty of stories and pictures from all the fun we are about to have!!!
