Hello All! Tanya has mad her way to Miami and is spending the day in Miami Beach and the surrounding area! Here are a few photos for you to enjoy!! -E | HEY THERE!! Here we are at Hump Day already! Let me tell you, the weather has been pretty wet here in New York. I don't really mind because you know I LOVE the rain! And honestly, it doesn't even stand in the way of my daily walks - unless it's a downpour - I just suit up with a slicker and a baseball cap and I'm good to go. Just a little extra caution when walking over wet leaves and messy puddles. If you were wondering - my daily walking routine is going wonderfully! I've been doing 3 miles daily and every few days I hit the 4 and 5 mile mark! My goal going forward is to have 5 miles per day be the norm. Will keep you posted! I can attest to the fact that nothing is more true than Friedrich Nietzsche's quote above! Walking is the perfect way to stop the noise inside your head and allow yourself to get in touch with your inner creativity. It's amazing how many inspirations come to the forefront when you get yourself moving in the fresh air! This week we wanted to tell you about a pretty significant upgrade to Disney World! In addition to the new painting of Cinderella's Castle in June to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Cinderella, there are also some other painting changes happening at Disney World in anticipation of its 50th Anniversary next year. According to a Twitter post by "Disney D23", it was announced on Monday that the entrance gate signs at the Magic Kingdom have been refreshed with new painting: FIRST LOOK: Check out the refreshed entrances coming soon to @WaltDisneyWorld Resort, featuring a new color palette that complements the recent royal makeover of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park: https://bit.ly/31NLkuK With this iconic overhead sign and gates being the first thing guests see when approaching the Disney World Resort, the new colors surely stand out as the most magical welcome upon arrival!! We were lucky enough to have Tanya there on-hand last week to snap this picture which shows the new painting in process at the entrance to Magic Kingdom! According to Disney Parks Blog: “When you stop and think about it for a moment, though, the very first bit of magic you experience is actually driving underneath the Walt Disney World gateways — those grand arches stretching over the roadways that tell you, yes, you’ve finally arrived at The Most Magical Place on Earth. You are here!” And nothing could be more true!! This is certainly a bit of good news in the wake of the sad news announced by Disney at the end of last month that they were forced to layoff 28,000 employees due to the impact that Covid-19 had on Disney's business. Our hearts go out to all of those affected and our thanks for their tireless service to make Disney World the magical place that it is. That's a wrap for today folks, Here's to a happy hump day! -Travelin' Elisa xoxo |
