Next Week's Daycations
Yay!!! It's Friday! And let me tell you, my girl Kelsey is one happy kid today since she did not have school! No getting up early and no homework this weekend!!
I'll be taking her and a few friends to see a movie later this afternoon, but until then, she'll be having a relaxing morning. 
Well, unfortunately, me and Gianna had to get up just the same since G did have school today. It was a productive morning for mom, as I hit the grocery store early and picked up a few necessities for the weekend.
I'm pretty sure our weekend will be uneventful since there is a nor'easter in the forecast, with rains starting tonight and going into tomorrow with very high winds. We had planned to visit the Bronx Night Market again, but, that is not going to happen with the anticipated weather. I don't mind telling you, I'm not heartbroken because I still have lots of work to do on our site and a great deal of writing to get done. So, either way, it will be a very productive weekend for me. Moving right along - I am excited about my schedule next week. I have three fun days so far! and will be visiting two New York City boroughs! Wednesday- I'll be heading to the Bronx to The Bronx Museum of the Arts. There are currently two exhibits on display that I want to see and one of them will be closing beginning of November, so I want to boogie on up there before it's gone. These include: CHRISTOPHER K. HO: ALOHA TO THE WORLD AT THE DON HO TERRACE October 3, 2018 to January 6, 2019 AND MANUEL MENDIVE: NATURE, SPIRIT, AND BODY July 25, 2018 to November 4, 2018 I'll be doing a follow up article on my visit, so there's more to come! It also happens to be Halloween, so not much more to say than that! Gianna will be dressing up for school, but Kelsey is still undecided about wearing a costume to school. I'll see if I can work on her! Thursday - We'll be heading out early to Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn, where we''ll be doing a little sightseeing and eating. Here are a few destinations on our list...

All Packed and Ready to Go
Alright guys, I did it! It took me hours upon hours, but I did it and it is done!
What did I do? What's done? I'm pretty much all packed for China! I know we have 12 days left to go before our departure and it's perhaps a wee bit early for me to start packing, but this was the ONLY time between now and then that I had open and could tackle the task. 
Cosette also got her luggage packed and now all we need are the odds and ends, toiletries and such.
Hey I almost forgot to wish you a HAPPY FRIDAY! The weekend is here and my schedule is not crazy busy. 
It will be filled with things like Mika's soccer game, watching the MLB World Series - although I really hate both teams playing, shopping, going to the stables and maybe even trying out a new vegan eatery!
But as far as today goes, I'm heading out the door fairly early so that I can assure that I'll be finished with all my errands and chores-at-hand before the 5p game time. At which point I'll most likely be glued to the boob tube. Lastly I never got to show you guys what our Halloween costume choices were. Here's a sneak peek preview of what we will be transforming ourselves into: 
We are going as "The Land Before Time"! It's sure to be lots of fun!!
Also there have been lot's of trip ideas and planning also going on over here but I don't quite have enough time at the moment to catch you up. I will update soon!! Now it's time for me to head out. Bye for now. -Travelin' Tanya
