Tanya's Daily Scoop
NEXT TRIP DEPARTS IN: 6 DAYS
A little bit of this and a little bit of that
The temperature has finally broke from triple digits. Yeehaw!
As you know, I am no fan of the heat. No siree Bob.
I took Dominic shoe shopping yesterday, it was fairly successful where he found a shoe that he liked - just not in his size. No biggie, as I was able to place the order online.
I had a bit for specialty food shopping to do as well as food planning for our trip to Arizona and for Ireland.
I spent some time shopping around at where to stay in Moab next spring (we are trying someplace new). I also was trying to choose a good set of dates to take a short surprise trip, as well as plan a mountain biking trip for next summer...Whistler is in the lead, but Park City is also still in question.
Finally hitting up the nail salon and getting my lovely manicure...
Dominic went to class and after dinner we even started and some of us (not me) finished watching the original Blade Runner.
We figured that since we are going to see the new film in the theater on Sunday that those of us who haven't seen it should check it out. The only thing was that once you place me on the couch in front of the TV, in a dark room it is a sure recipe for me to fall asleep. Which I did. So we might have to watch it again before Sunday. LOL
AND the Dodgers LOSE!!!
I was also quite happy that after a great baseball game (which I was partially watching when I could and listening to the rest) the Los Angeles Dodgers lost game 2 of the World Series yesterday! While I'm certainly no Houston Astros fan - I really can't stand most Dodger Fans and I seem to be surrounded by them, so I actually prefer having the Astros win this series.
Besides, after what Houston has gone through with Hurricane Harvey, I think they deserve something to lift their spirits!
I'm gonna book something for Moab and catch y'all back here tomorrow,
