Expanding our List of Vegan Approved Businesses

Hello!  Is anyone else out there from NYC/Long Island totally LOVING this amazing Autumn weather we've been having?!

​It's so gorgeous out the past few days and I'm just soaking it all up!

Before I move onto the business of the day, I have to tell you about my poor little Punkin.  My little fur baby has a bad rash all over her little underarms, legs and belly.  It's also over her body, but it's hidden under her fur.  So, last night, me and my girl headed to the vet to see what the heck was going on.

As usual, the folks at Garden City Park Animal Hospital, greeted Punkin with hugs, kisses and excitement.  As it turns out, this is some kind of allergic reaction of sorts and believe it or not, the doctor said that this kind of thing can also include gastrointestinal upset - that might explain why Punkin was sick a few weeks ago with her vomiting.  

Oh, I felt so bad for her because she's had this thing for a while and I didn't realize it.  Poor baby.

Thank goodness, Dr. B was caring and gave us some medicine to get rid of this.  This morning, after a big breakfast (and her meds), my girl has been resting.

Well, it appears that both me and Tanya have busy days.  Mine is not so hurried, but I do have a great deal I want to accomplish.

On the business front, I am so excited to be sending out emails to numerous restaurants and business establishments that have made the cut on Travelin' Cousins "Vegan Approved" list.  What that means is that they can proudly wear our badge on their website and storefront!!

We will be updating our Vegan Resource Guide page in the coming weeks to reflect our growing list!

Additionally, I'm still working on fully updating our site with its new look.  Please leave comments on what you think!!

I'll also be preparing for mine and Tanya's conference call tomorrow.  Yup -we have another call this week to chat about our growing site and how we can get our travel inspiration out to more people worldwide!

Hurried Day

Hiya! 

Happy Humpday! 

I've got an early morning today and with lots of running around.
It was just brought to my attention that I kinda had messed up my calendar because I thought that the kids performance at the 5th annual Ronald McDonald - A FEW GOOD MEN GALA - was for tomorrow and then I got an email with the schedule being this evening.

WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT:
5th Annual A Few Good Men Gala benefiting the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House and honoring esteemed gentlemen from throughout the region. Each distinguished Honoree has contributed generously to the communities he serves. Join us for a men’s fashion show featuring these impressive “models,” then take advantage of the opportunity to bid on a priceless and unique experience, personally designed by each Honoree.

Now my day is rather nuts and of course I had to switch a few things around.

I'm hoping that everything works out, but what it does mean for right now is that I can  only  say HI.
