Hi everyone! How is everyone doing out there? Seems extra hot and extra humid here in Orlando today, but we are by no means allowing that to melt our spirit as we continue to enjoy or Walt Disney World experience at Magic Kingdom. We’ve been lucky enough to witness a few parades and although they are short right now and unscheduled (due to covid19) the magic is still there. We are also definitely hitting up a ton of rides. And we had an amazing lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern in Liberty Square. The Park closes at 6 PM tonight and we have been going nonstop day in and day out every day since we got here in Orlando. Arriving at the parks a minimum of an hour before the parks open and staying about 1+ hours after they close! Tanya coming to you from Magic Kingdom! Parade Fun Iconic Rides We have also been utilizing the Disney app to help us with the park hours, showtimes, status and wait times for rides, mobile food orders, a map of the parks with gps, checking in for dining and much more!! It’s quite helpful! Please be sure to check out all the vlogs, YouTube videos and photos that both Elisa and I are posting along the way. AND - check out my latest foodie adventure this week below to Mr. Puff's! I’m about to head on another ride I’ll catch you guys tomorrow, from yet another park! Ciao 4 now, -Travelin’ Tanya | Hi! Mr. Puff's Delicious (and Vegan!) Greek Loukoumades - Better
Known as "Puffs"
A typical Greek street food dessert, loukoumades are very popular both in and outside Greece with a history that goes way back to Ancient Greece.. In fact, so tasty are these puffs that according to PhilosoKitchen.com "the legend tells that this recipe had been offered as a winner's reward during the first Olympic Games!"
While in Orlando, during Tanya's Florida travel adventure trip this week, she and her gang headed over to the local Mr. Puff's to indulge in their own reward, after a tiresome day walking around the Disney World parks!
Listen to what Tanya has to say...
At Mr. Puffs, hungry patrons have their pick from a variety of toppings including honey cinnamon, creamy caramel, salted carmel, sugar cinnamon, creamy maple, chocolate hazelnut, hazelnut biscotti, choco-loco, strawberry, raspberry and choco-berry. A true Yum-festival!!
The best part of all for your favorite cousins is that they are also vegan!!
Mr. Puffs also has a selection of other sweets including milkshakes, iced drinks and ice cream.
