Beautiful Beaches to Visit on Florida's Gulf Coast
HEY THERE!!
Was up and out the door super early today to get Gianna to school. She had forgotten one of her notebooks on Friday and had to finish some homework before classes began. Needless to say, waking up 20 minutes prior to my usual wake-up time is causing me to feel a bit sleepy today!! The very good news is that it is bright and sunny out! Yesterday was a rainy, gray day and while I love those days, it sure was cheery to wake up to the sunshine. And while I'm enjoying the ever decreasing temps and falling leaves of Autumn here on Long Island, Tanya is making her way around the Mediterranean cruisin' about. Today, she is at sea, having bopped around Venice yesterday, making her way to Corfu, Greece, where she will be visiting tomorrow. I'll be living vicariously through her as I bring you an interesting blog about this Greek island in the Ionian Sea. As for today, we'll be taking a virtual visit to the Gulf Coast of Florida, here in The States, where Trips to Discover has assembled quite a lovely read featuring 13 of the area's underrated beaches.

No doubt the East Coast of Florida is known for bigger ocean waves, cool attractions and mesmerizing sunrises, but the west coast sits on a rich body of water with beaches that are said to have the softest sand, the clearest waters, the most fun nature trails and the best fishing!
