BRAND BALLOT'S TOP 100 MOM BLOGS FOR 2018!!
From Athens to Venice!Hello out there! It's me and I'm back again - for a sec...only because my battery is about to die. UGH - can I get a break here?! Anyhow, we arrived in Venice last night and the hotel had pretty sucky wifi - thus I was unable to bop on and post anything. Maybe I'll get it right tomorrow - if I get the chance to go online, being that we'll be floating at sea in the gorgeous Mediterranean all day and night. I know. I know. Woe is me. NOT! My life is actually every bit as fabulous as you imagine it might be! Now for a few pictures from today before the screen goes kaput. At 0%!!! Will try to load some from my phone. YIKES! Over and out, -Travelin' Tanya | Elisa's Birthday BrunchHey there folks!!, I’m writing to you today from inside the laundromat in this very rainy day here on Long Island. Finally having a chance to sit after a morning and afternoon filled with outings After feeding my sweet little Punkin and taking her out for her morning business, me and the girls headed over to Witches Brew for brunch. This past Wednesday was my birthday and we had not as yet had a chance to celebrate. So today was our little celebratory outing! We visited this vegetarian/vegan spooky themed coffee house and eatery last week, but only for tea and sweets. Today we each partook in a savory meal and it was yummy!! Gianna has her eye on the butternut squash gnocchi last week and wasted no time ordering this dish today. Lots of squash and onions in a vegan butter sage sauce, before I knew it, she was done!! I decided on the falafel sandwich, which the right size filled with falafel balls, tomatoes and hummus - all vegan and DeLish!! It was served with a tossed salad and the vinaigrette dressing was superb - not to savory and not too sweet. I enjoyed a steaming pit of mint leave tea which hit the spot on this damp day. We girls decided to do a bit of decorative shopping, stopping to look at pain colors at Sherwin Williams and the off to Lowe’s to check our bathroom and kitchen tile options. That all ended with me st the laundromat where I sit writing. As you know, my dear cuz Tanya is on a cruise through Greece, Venice and even Croatia again. We both love Venice so much - one of our favorite cities in not only Italy but, all the world!! In fact, here are some Venice memories from both of us... Elisa and Tanya throw it back to Venice Cheers, Travelin' Elisa xoxo |
