Yes I'm embarrassed

Hi there! (said very sheepishly) 

I'm bopping on here since I actually can. I only say bopping because I don't know how long my connection will last. 

I have had a ridiculous week between FIRES, EVACUATIONS, BIRTHDAYS and the LOSS OF INTERNET. 

I repeat - IT HAS BEEN RIDICULOUS.    And now I am now super backed up - it sucks!
And I am sorry.

You had no idea what has been going on and for all you knew I (GOD FORBID) went down or UP (I like to think that I'd go up) in FLAMES!

No way Jose man - just dealing with crap.

But here I am. All is well (thank GOD). And I think I can mean it when I say that
I am BAAAAAAACK!

I'll catch up. There is lots to catch up on and it won't happen right away, but it'll happen. I'll also forewarn you that as of Friday we are leaving for our Annual Family Camping Trip and heading to the Morro Bay area. With that being said - I do not know what the wifi or signal connections will be like.    So I apologize in advance if I can not get on over the weekend. But I will do my darnedest to try!

When I say "we" I am referring to myself, Dominic, Cosette, Birdwald Ponypants, Jet, Andrew, Chaplin and possibly Mika. 

In fact Jet has decided to even bring Balto along on the trip! So with that new development and not wanting to sleep with Balto (Male - German Shepard) in my tent, Jet has opted to buy a tent for them to allow Balto to sleep in and who knows maybe the 3 of them even take slumber in there too...we shall see.

But what that means is that I need to run to the sporting goods store this morning to go pick up a tent for her. 

Good news is that each of the places that we will be dining at along the way up and down the California Coast also allow for dogs on their patio seating. 

On the way up there will be a stop for lunch at Sea Ranger Seafood Station - which also has many lovely sounding vegan options.

On the way back we'll be stopping for lunch at Backyard Bowls in Santa Barbara

Since our wifi and cable have been out and there were 2 MLB Playoff games on TV yesterday, we had gone over to our friend Matt's house to cheer on the Yankees in the NYY vs HOU game and to cheer on the Cubs in the CHC vs LAD game. The Yankees won! The Cubs lost. 

We've got more games to watch today - I'm hoping that our wifi and TV issues are all a thing of the past.
