My Birthday - An Amazing Year!

Hello!!! It's my birthday today!! Wow, it has been a week of birthday celebrations!! My little cousin Cosette two days ago and now, me!

Well, guys, it has been a super fantastic year!!! I am really grateful for everything I've experienced over the past 12 months, and thought I'd do a re-cap to celebrate my birthday!!

Another day to Celebrate!

Can you believe 2 cousins birthdays in only a couple of days?! 
That could only mean one thing - that these days  here are for sure a very special few days!

Hiya everyone, it's Travelin' Tanya and did you realize that although I don't have a specific nickname, that I've got a couple that friends and family members who have lovingly labeled me with and occasionally call me: TBIRD

So of course when the kids spotted it graffied on some random weird truck in the same parking lot as Thien Dang Vegetarian, you know I just had to go and take my picture with it. LOL

It was a Monday afternoon and we were headed out to choir rehearsal. Which means one thing - late lunch at Thien Dang. I never realized how much I love Vietnamese food until we started eating here! 

I happened to be starving upon our arrival and ordered a BIG bowl of nourishing and delicious soup that really hit the spot.

Yesterday also happened to be the first day that there was a post season game on and I wasn't glued to the boob tube.
Instead we listened intently to the game on the radio as the LA Dodgers were shut out by the Milwaukee Brewers 4-0.
The Brewers are now up 2-1 in the series.

As usual Monday nights mean going out to Long Beach for rehearsal with the International Peace Choir. Where Cosette is still an ambassador and Dominic is an alumni in a leadership role and working with the kids.

After rehearsal Cosette had a request that we stop for ice cream at Hug Life, since she had originally wanted an ice cream cake as her birthday cake and that came up as a bust.

Another thing I had to make sure was taken care of, was the ordering of our Halloween costumes.

Can you guess what we are going to be this year?

I'll give you until tomorrow and then I'll post the answer along with some pictures of the costumes that have been ordered

Okay so on another note, although I have a quickie trip to Sin City coming up in a couple of weeks and only a couple of days before we hop aboard a plane and head to China, plus I've only been back from Hawaii for less than 3 weeks, but I've got such a hankering for getting on out there and traveling!

ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT IS TRAVELING!

I've gotta tell you, as you might remember the end of the year is more or less my slow time to travel. With all the birthdays and holidays, events and performances it really makes for a difficult schedule to work around when you are like me and want to do it all!

So here I've been fantasizing none stop about going here there and everywhere.

We all know that I have a bad case of wanderlust.

My fantasies and day dreams have certainly not been limited to one place or part of the world...What will I plan next?!

Anyhow, I've got a bunch of errands to run, so it's time for me to head on outta here.
