Cosette Turns 17
Good Day Folks!
Today happens to be one of my favorites days of the year, it's Cosette's birthday... 
17 years ago on this day I became mommy to a beautiful baby girl. My adorable precious little buttercup Cosette!
Although she might not be a baby anymore, she'll always be my baby and that is just the way it goes.

I know there are many people out there who might say that time flies by too quickly.
Well for me it does and it doesn't. It does but only in the sense that I without a doubt miss my "little girl". But you must realize that I have some of the best memories of the years past that anyone could possibly ever ask for. Plus the priceless joy of watching that little girl turn into this amazing young lady who has been and continues to be the apple of my eye, right here beside me each and every day. I have truly been blessed! And it doesn't, simply because I fill our days, weeks, months, and years with so darn much that each year can seem like several. Take this year for instance:

I think the main point is to appreciate the time when they are cute, little, rambunctious things regardless of how trying it could be at given times, because that "little" age only lasts for so long.
While I'm at it here, some of us might also need a reminder that teenage-dom also doesn't last forever! LOL

We all know that I absolutely just love birthdays and love to celebrate life, which is something that I have passed down to both of my children.
Since my gal and I are leaving for China in 23 days and since we just got back from a wonderful trip to Hawaii - which was sort of a combo birthday trip for both Cosette and Dominic (who's bday is coming is right after Thanksgiving).

We've obviously already had plenty of fun in the snow, sun and everything in between and of course the excitement of new adventures to look forward to!

We enjoyed a yummy pre-birthday brunch at Cafe Gratitude in Newport Beach yesterday with some of the fam bam and we are now about to head out to Los Angeles for a nice English Breakfast at Kitchen Mouse and then continue to celebrate with the rest of the birthday festivities throughout the day!
