As I was dropping off the kids at school, I commented how it was Thursday already!
I'm also glad to report that my two girls are back to normal from having a bit of a stomach bug. Mommy managed to escape it WHEW!
Fortunately, no tests this week, but Gianna had her field trip today and I was so happy she had good weather! I'll tell you more about it tomorrow.
I think Tanya said it best, so I'm going to quote what she wrote:
I'd like to apologize for the fact that our Daily Scoop posted late yesterday. For those of you who might have missed it, here it is: Wednesday's Scoop
Not much happening on my end today so I think I'm going to direct you over to Tanya's side and all about her super fun day at Hollywood Studios! ---->>>---->>>---->>>---->>>---->>>
I'll be back tomorrow with more to share!!
Tanya's Daily Scoop CURRENTLY TRAVELING IN: FLORIDA
A Day at Hollywood Studios
Well hello HELLO!
We've come to the last day of this GRAND trip that we've had and while it's sad to see it come to an end we've left one of the BEST for last - The Magic Kingdom!
Before I get ahead of myself I'd like to apologize for the fact that our Daily Scoop posted late yesterday. For those of you who might have missed it, here it is: Wednesday's Scoop
Now on with my SCOOP. Yesterday we had a fine day at Hollywood Studios - which happens to be one of Cosette's and Dominic's favorite Disney Parks! But with all of the Star Wars exhibits, shows, characters, and rides it really got me thinking that it should be Dave C's favorite park!! (As he's a HUGE Star Wars fan and was really GEEKING out.)
We started our day out with a quick visit with Donald and Daisy Duck. In case you didn't realize - Daisy Duck is rather elusive throughout the parks. So any chance to get a picture with her and we jump on it!
Next up was watching the Star Wars March of the First Order come down Hollywood Blvd.
Then stopping for photo ops along the way, we made a semi bee line for Cosette's favorite ride:
The Tower of Terror!
While it is a very fun ride, I'll admit that I might have had a bit of a nervous laughter or some minor whimpering once I was buckled in and before it really started...
We also rode the very fun and very fast Rock N' Roller Coaster along to the tunes of Aerosmith!
And as I mentioned...Star Wars. Star Wars. Star Wars!
Then it was time for a little For the First Time in Forever FROZEN sing along action, followed by a Little Mermaid.
But Star Wars wasn't over yet...there was still a Star Wars Galactic Spectacular to end the night with a BOOM!
And then we realized that we still hadn't rode the Toy Story Mania ride, so we rushed over before the park closure announcements were made and squeezed in one last ride for the day!
And that's my report/scoop for the day.
The kids are pretty darn pooped and we are now heading out to the Magic Kingdom to fully wipe them and ourselves out! HAHA
