Tanya's Daily Scoop CURRENTLY TRAVELING IN: HAWAII
15 Cool Facts About Maui!
Hi there! It's another TBT and it's also World Vegetarian Day!
Can you believe that it's already October?!
October is the month when my life usually goes on fast forward until after the holidays... Cosette's birthday is on the 14th and the pace just doesn't seem to stop after that!
But until I'm back on the mainland, I'm on Island Time!
Yesterday, island time consisted of doing a lovely guided coastal walk and learning about many local plant varieties.
Once our tour ended, we spent some time on the beach, and then headed straight for the pool. What a Life! LOL
Around lunch time we came back up to our suite and got ready to our photo shoot...however, we received a call from Ironwood Ranch about our afternoon ride. It was explained that the morning rides had been cancelled - still due to the muddy conditions, and that we were on stand-by or can reschedule (which I really couldn't). UGH
Then I get another call asking if I can come earlier and that they would do another route for us. UGH UGH
I contacted the photographer to find out if we could reschedule with her and then we would be able to make it for the earlier ride!
And so it was, and so we went...
The ride was great, the horses were well trained, the guide was informative, and the scenery was just amazing! We had a terrific time and were so glad that we didn't get cancelled and were able to be flexible and take the earlier ride!
And it was a good thing that we did...because guess what... It rained last night and I'm sure all of today's and possibly tomorrow's rides are getting cancelled!
After the ride, we stopped in Lahaina for a frosty treat - Dominic and I opted for Gelato and Cosette opted for Dole Whip (I think she's hooked on that stuff!)
While there in town, I had also done my first solo vlog! Elisa is taking care of getting it on to YouTube and we'll keep you posted when it's up for viewing!
I'm pretty sure that you'll be able to also find access to our YouTube channel on our home page once it's ready to go!
Now, as for TBT - it's my turn this week and I've got to admit that I haven't done one yet. BAD TANYA!
So for now, I will leave you with a few links to Hawaii themed TBTs that have already been published.
Enjoy these for now, and I will keep you posted for when the "new" Throwback Story is on the blog. Thanks for your patience :)
However I do have some fun TBT pics for you to take a peek at:

And since today has been a REALLY long one, I'll leave you off with some very cool and interesting facts about Maui, and I'll catch you back here tomorrow with all the haps from today!
