Missing my CousinWell, hey there! Wow - I just got through watching Tanya's videos and perusing her photos from her first full day in Beijing. I"M SO JEALOUS!!! Have I said that already?? I LOVE CHINA and wish I could have gone with my cousins!! Ok vent over. You are going to love traveling with her this week. However, because the wifi is not great over there, I am doing all of her blog posting for her. So, her first video is from Tiananman Square and the second is from The Forbidden City - both in Beijing. Then there are tons of pics from her day. As a veteran Asia traveler, I am used to losing a day when traveling east, but I think it's so cute how Tanya is amazed at losing Wednesday lol. Well, you can bet, she is making up for lost time, seeing everything there is to see during the next week! Back on Long Island... Back to reality on my end. Nothing much happening here that compares to the excitement of Tanya's trip. However, I'm here on the home front, working on some pretty exciting stuff to expand the reach of our blog AND create some branding partners for Travelin' Cousins! So, at present, it's probably a good thing that one of us cousins is home! In other good news, my toe seems to be feeling much better. Not yet 100% but wow, I can assume from the way it feels, it was not broken; just badly bruised. Thank goodness. Tomorrow, I'll be heading into Queens to enjoy lunch with my Aunt Ro at an Indian restaurant she wanted me to try. I LOVE Indian food, so I'm really excited. As for the weekend, I'm still trying to sort that out as I have an open house scheduled. Sending positive vibes to the universe for a wonderful buyer to come this weekend. It's 9pm over here and after getting only 1.5h of sleep last night and having the run around busy day that we had, I am kinda ready for bed! Cosette is already tucked in and snoozing off in dreamland and I'm gonna joining her very soon. So after waking up at 5:30am and getting down to breakfast at 6:30am and then in the lobby to meet up with the group at 8am only to be followed by a long day of checking out Tiananmen's Square, The Forbidden City, The Temple of Heaven and going to The Golden Dynasty performing arts drama. All in all it was a fairly long day especially considering the number of hours I got to lay in bed. With all of that being said, today's blog is going to be short and sticky sweet. Hopefully I'll be able to fill in the blanks soon. But in the meantime please enjoy the pictures and videos from today.
