Guess where I am?!Greetings from the Chateau Marmont in the City of Angels! That's right folks here I am on our little stay-cation, just a hop skip and jump away from the good 'ol but very new OC in the hip and happening rather Famous and Legendary Sunset Boulevard Hotel designed to evoke the vibe of a French Chateau. The Chateau Marmont - this was the "surprise" accommodations that Dave picked out and kinda scared me about, since he didn't know what to expect or if I would like it! Well the apartment that he booked is just lovely, perched on a hill with an amazing view of Sunset strip, Hollywood and the entire city of Los Angeles! Plus upon walking into the digs...I found an absolutely gorgeous bouquet of beautiful pink and mauve roses...this guy sure knows how to treat a gal! And the bonus is that he really does have great taste ;) The hotel is decorated with an Old Hollywood flavor, which will be the perfect back drop to our afternoon photoshoot - be sure to come back tomorrow to see if we get off any good shots! I hope we do!!! So we arrived here after a long and busy bustling afternoon and a wonderful time out at the salon. Dinner at the posh Crossroads Kitchen CLICK HERE FOR FULL REVIEW to try out their new fall menu selections was the first thing on our schedule. There were a couple of standout dishes and meal was enjoyable as always! And to rewind just a bit... Before that and before getting my hair DID, amongst other chores, I had promised to take Cosette shopping (again) and boy does time fly with I'm shopping! We managed to pick up a few items for her including a really super cute pair of black jeans (which I can't stop thinking about, I think I have to go back and pick up an identical pair for little ol' me!). And fast forward again...to TODAY! We have such a FUN day planned, filled with good eats that I am going to with the full intent of Future FOODIE FRIDAY reviews, a PHUN Photoshoot, and a show - DANCES of PERU to be exact! *If you remember my friend Chhai - she left this morning for Peru - I'm both super stoked for her and a bit jealous at the same time!
