Hello Folks! One last GREETING from this trip to Sedona. It totally feels like a Saturday to me...how about you? So let me catch you up - yesterday after our hike at Red Rock Crossing we went to eat a filling and yummy lunch at Picazzo’s. There was so much for us to choose from with them offering a full vegan menu (it took us a while to decide). And then everything looked and tasted so good! Definitely a great lunch and/or dinner option!! Before heading off to stroll and shop at Tlaquepaque we stopped in to satisfy our sweet teeth and grab some chocolate delights at Synergy. After our bellies were full of delish food and our second “dessert” bellies were dancing in delight. It was then time for the beautiful scenery and some retail therapy at Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village. Where we were all wowed by the festive decor and shopping delights. Today is another (and the forth of the vortexes) Boyton Canyon - where Balance was the name of the game. Check out the amazing beauty and gorgeous landscapes in my vlog and pictures. Off to Tlaquepaque to spend more moola!! Until tomorrow my dears, -Travelin’ Tanya Recap of yesterday... More Vegan Fun!! The gang headed for some Vegan Italian food at Piccazzo's, followed by dessert at Synergy Lounge & Kitchen. Picazzo's is an Arizona-based family-owned and operated healthcentric restaurant with five locations which include Sedona, Scottsdale, Tempe, Paradise Valley and Arrowhead. The cuisine is an interesting Italian fusion with bold flavors of Asian, Mediterranean and even Mexican ingredients, with a variety of dishes that are vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and allergy-friendly as well as a non-vegan menu. Synergy uses a business model for which we are starting to see more and more, particularly in the food industry and namely among small start-ups. It's a community business platform. In the case of Synergy, the back of the house kitchen is currently home to three independent, female-led businesses in Sedona, Arizona. These include Chocolita, owned by Sarah Anne Lesslie, Communal Uprising owned by Shari Flam, and Synergy Herbals owned by Sierra Shafer. According to their website, "Our shared kitchen is a space of cooperation and master-minding – a business model that fosters the sharing of entrepreneurial knowledge and the enjoyment of working in community. We have discovered that together we can learn, grow, inspire, and maximize our greatest potential in unison." With three distinct specialties and product offerings, visitors can find a combined mix of products that include a coffee house menu of 36 drinks, as well as house-made products like CBD oils, salves, herbal tinctures and more; coconuts sugar-sweetened, low-glycemic, organic chocolate; and white sugar free chocolates. A great combination! Today at Boyton Canyon Vortex | Friday Again - YAY!! What a week it's been - I have loved following Tanya all around Sedona since last Saturday. We'd love to know your favorite part of the trip! Leave a comment below! Boy, have we got a bunch of new YouTube videos on the way for you!! From my latest local excursions to the outer boroughs of The Bronx celebrating a ribbon cutting for new restaurant openings, and Staten Island for The Great S.I. Lighthouse Hunt, to some vegan foodie destinations visited by me and Tanya, we are so excited for you to view them!! Guys, we will get more proficient at producing and uploading our videos quicker, but the travel adventures happen much too quickly!! Videos in the works include several from Tanya's Florida Travel Adventure, Tanya Goes on a Sedona Adventure as well as more featuring vegan and plant-based eateries. Which brings me to today's little adventure here on Long Island. Today, I paid a visit to a gluten free, nut free and vegan bakery, as part of one of my upcoming YouTube video "Long Island Vegan Bakery Crawl." Here's a sneak peak: Video of Elisa at Bare Naked Bakery in Bellmore, Long Island Holy Cow!! What I especially love about this place is that it caters to such a wide range of dietary preferences. With cupcakes, cookies, pastries, a different variety of breads, this will b a definite go-to bakery for my gang! They also have a full menu of vegan, gluten and nut free meal itms, which we'll be back to talk about and sample another day. Their two other locations are in Plainview an Northport, Long Island.
