BRAND BALLOT'S TOP 100 MOM BLOGS FOR 2018!!
Fall Back and Relaxing Sunday
Happy Sunday to you! Well, we gain an hour today (or last night, depending on where you were and what you were doing lol).
I really do not like when it gets dark early. I feel like the day is just so short!! Oh well, that's life, right?
Unfortunately, my day is not terribly exciting. I'll begin with a visit to the laundromat to do a week's worth of laundry.
Then I'll head over to the gym for a morning work-out. And finally, to Stop & Shop for some grocery shopping. Don't be jealous! lol However, later in the day, I'll be working on our ever-expanding Vegan Resource Guide. Have you checked it out yet? We have so many restaurants and foodie destinations that we love and have patronized, so it's a work in progress to get the current ones up on our list and of course, we will be adding to the guide on an ongoing basis. Then...we will get busy with our Travel Resource Guide, which I can assure you, will be HUGE!!! This guide includes all of the hotels, motels, accommodations, points of interest and anything else you can imagine for which we Travelin' Cousins have visited!! Tanya and I are so committed to igniting that wanderluster in all of our followers and providing as much information as possible to inspire constant travel in everyone!! I'm sorry this is a short one, but I did find an interesting article, in Your AAA Traveler which I will link for you... 7 Great Destinations to Explore in 2019 Read More
Where have you been considering visiting? The Middle East? South America? Check out these cool places!!!
And if you do not have plans to visit any of them in 2019 - perhaps later! Ok - over and out! -Travelin' Elisa xoxo |
Hello guys (insert wave here)!
How is everyone doing? I'm back from Sin City. Got back yesterday and immediately got right back into the swing of things. No rest for the weary - not saying that I'm the weary. Just saying. My friends and I had carpooled back and I'm not gonna lie and say that it was all smooth sailing. BECAUSE IT WASN'T! There was drama before we even stepped foot into the vehicle. I'm no fan of drama, so I'm not really going to get into it with you on here. But let's just say that it got to the point where I had to pull the "you're not gonna get a ride home" card!
Once back in the OC, I still had to pick up my (big) baby Cosette, then drop my friend Jodie off and pick up her fur baby pooch along the way.
Jodie's fur baby, Jessie is 7 years old. We use to puppy-sit her and it has been years since Cosette has seen her. But neither Jessie nor Cosette forgot the love they had for each other and they cuddled and snuggled the entire drive back to Jodie's place.
Once we bid our good byes to Jodie and Jessie it was time to hit up Barnes and Noble. Cosette needed some reading material for our journey to China and I needed a couple of travel guides that I will be perusing through on the long haul (flight) over to the Far East - which is so far east that we are heading west! lol The only problem was that the location we went to only had the Beijing book that I was looking for. So being that our dinner plans happened to be directly across the street from another Barnes and Noble location, I figured that we would bop inside the second location in hopes of finding my book on Shanghai. Everything worked out. However if I had already known the exact books that I was shopping for, shopping could've been so much easier and only a click away!
As I began to mention we had plans of going to Mitasie (a family favorite for many years) for dinner. We ordered plenty, but I only got pictures of 2 of the appetizers! LOL
By the time we had finished dinner, wandered around browsing and shopping at the second bookstore of the day and everything that took place earlier in the day before even arriving back to Cali. I was ready for some downtime, as was Dave (although his day was hardly even busy IMO).
So home we went and it just so happened that the fam bam was just about to start the movie The Spy Who Dumped Me, with Mila Kunis and funny gal Kate Mckinnon.
The movie had us all chuckling, but as usual put me in front of the TV all comfy and I will probably doze off - which I did at the very end of the movie. So I just might have to play the end one more time.
Lest I forget that there was one more thing that I did even before plopping down in front of the movie... Chaplin wanted to show me her jump roping skills and I had decided to join in! It was a hoot!! Anyhow I must be on my way. I have a super busy day ahead of me and gotta get outta here. More tomorrow. Ciao 4 Now, -Travelin' Tanya |
