Greetings from the kitchen! Well not really - I'm taking a brief intermission from cooking.
My alarm went off at 4:45am this morning, and I jumped out of bed at 5am put my apron on and started my long day - more like a marathon of cooking.
We've all just finished chowing down on our 4 course Brunch. And now the masses will be full until dinner is served. I've got lots more to do, but have been banging through. I'm very grateful that the boys around here take Thanksgiving so serious...Andrew woke up and arrived on the scene quite early to help - I was stoked he was so eager! Next came Dave C. and then little Mika.
Within the next few hours I had the entire household offering to assist in some shape or form. It was awesome! I certainly don't mind making 24+ items from scratch when I've got these awesome helpers standing by awaiting my next need to our big menu:

As you've probably noticed, I've been collecting some quotes to use today and here they are!
Well, of course I've got much more to tell you about today and yesterday - but I've gotta get my booty back into the kitchen and continue working.
I wish you and your's a wonderful and Happy Thanksgiving!
