BRAND BALLOT'S TOP 100 MOM BLOGS FOR 2018!!
Heading to Milk Bar & Vegan Market
Hey there!! Hope you're enjoying your weekend!
I wanted to pop on here to say hello and wish you a happy day, but I've got to boogie because me and my girls have a fun day planned. We will be heading to Milk Bar in Williamsburg - the famous chain founded by chef, Christina Tosi.
Will tell you all about this unique dessert destination with many locations, on tomorrow's blog - in addition to the details of our visit today!
Then, we'll be visiting the monthly Vegan Market at the Market Hotel, to grab some lunch (and maybe take some dinner!) as well as stock up on our Thanksgiving desserts for this Thursday.
This will be our second visit and what seems to be a regular monthly destination for us. Read more about our visit last month!
We are off - see you back here tomorrow. -Travelin' Elisa xoxo |
Another trip to look forward to!!
Good Day & Happy Sunday to you!
Today is the last weekend day before (for me) what is going to be a very hectic few days that will then lead up to an always super duper busy Thanksgiving. The upside for most people is that this is only a 3 day work week and that the meal on Thursday will be absolutely worth all of the work and freakin' DELICIOUS! Of course as I mentioned yesterday, I am considering the possibility of traveling over Thanksgiving next year. But since I am also planning on doing a vacay to Colonial Williamsburg, VA next December between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I may or may not opt to actually travel over Thanksgiving unless it is something that leads directly into the Williamsburg trip. *The last time that we visited Colonial Williamsburg for the Holiday season was back in 2007 I've got to tell you, although I have many many great trips planned between now and when this trip will commence., I am already very excited about going! Listed by Country Living as one of America's 30 Best Small Towns for Christmas If you didn't realize, Colonial Williamsburg is actually quite a magical place to visit during the holiday season, with the feel of being in a Charles Dickens novel, a Norman Rockwell painting, part of a Burl Ives Christmas Carol and the idealistic scene from a Christmas Card or a Snow Globe all rolled into one place!
So as you can tell, my head is already wrapped up in the Christmas spirit!
You can very soon look forward to the "Oh So Many Planned Fun and Festive" holiday events that I've got scheduled for the month December. I can't wait to share them with you! But for now I must focus on the task at hand that is Thanksgiving and start on my massive shopping list! Join me back here tomorrow, -Travelin' Tanya |
