My week...
Hiya everyone!
Happy Sunday! Just a quick catch up on how my week has been... Well last travel update that I think I shared I was heading on a road trip to San Francisco, Las Vegas, Alburquerque and Dallas. Funny how things can change at any given moment. As it happened there was a major change in plans once I got to San Francisco! SAAAAAY WHAAAAT?! Yup plans changed once I got to San Fran, I was no longer going to Las Vegas, Alburquerque or Dallas. Instead, I was staying longer in San Fran then heading back home and then off to Phoenix (once again). All of that and I was back in SoCal by Friday. Went Christmas shopping with Dominic yesterday and am about to take Cosette shopping for a bit now. We'll have cute Aurora in tow and then at 3p Cosette and Dave C. will be going to see Chaplin's performance of HONK. My little 8 year old niece has been a super busy bee for the last couple of months working with her performing arts class on this production that opened on Friday night! With 2 weekends, 1 showing on Friday night, 2 on Saturday's and an afternoon matinee performance on Sunday - these kids are working hard and from what I've heard, the show is great!! I'm looking forward to seeing it and have tickets to go next Sunday with Dominic and Mika. That'll already be after our trip to Seattle which we depart for early tomorrow morning. Whew. Anyhow, I hope to catch up along the way and to post some of the beautiful pictures that I anticipate taking! But for now I'll say Ciao 4 Now, -Travelin' Tanya |
France just got a new national park
Hello there and hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
My weekend has been totally productive!! Yesterday, me and my girl Gianna did 5 loads of laundry (2 weeks worth!!) as well as bringing a few bags to the Salvation army, AND we managed to pick up a ton of boxes at local stores for packing. Busy day. The day continued with more work focusing on our move. Kelsey and I headed to a few furniture stores and found a number of new purchases for the new house!!! A couch, a love seat and a swivel chair are now on layaway!!
Making a bit of progress alittle each day and today I will continue the chores with packing up kitchen plates and serve ware, as well as my laundry room. f
But before I go, let me share a great article with you about a new national park in France. France Has a New National Park—Only 3 Hours From Paris According to the article, the country's 11th national park is located in a little-visited area of northern France, called the Parc National de Forêts de Champagne et Bourgogne. The new national park is the largest one in metropolitan France, covering 965 square miles of forest and countryside and located three hours from the City of Lights.
This park contains 1,250 miles of trails and nearly 450 miles of waterway for great kayaking., But, according to the article in Afar.com "it’s not all green space. Parc National de Forêts also encompasses 127 communes, which are home to 28,000 residents."
Visitors can also stop in at local shops and businesses. There are archeological sites in the park as well, with remains that date back to 750 B.C.E. Read the full article... See ya'll back tomorrow!! -Travelin' Elisa xoxo |
