Awaiting a Nor'easter on Long Island

Hello, Hello!!

So, this week could turn out to be the first official week of winter. The forecast has issued a nor'easter warning for the New York Metropolitan area.  The storm, or I should say precipitation - which means snow - is slated to begin at around 1pm EST 

I managed to get all of my chores and to-do's done early, along with my sidekick, Punkin!!

​ Food shopping to stock up on a few necessities; gas for the car;  a trip to the post office to return a few items to Amazon which did not fit as expected; and prepared dinner.  Whew!  Glad that is all out of the way, because I have quite a busy rest of the day.

This afternoon happens to be parent-teacher conferences at Gianna's high school, so I have scheduled to meet 9  - that's right! - 9 of her teachers.  Thank goodness the conferences begin at 3:30, and not later, just in case, it gets wet and messy out there.

Then, later on, early evening, I have a networking event to attend.  Again, thank goodness it is early and nearby.
