Fun Stuff To Do in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Hey Guys,
Sorry, this is getting published a bit late for the day. I was interviewing a vegan food vendor for a story I'm working on about New Vegan Pop-Up Food Vendors. But, I'm here now!! It's a brisk one here on Long Island! Lovin' it. My "To Do" List is growing by leaps and bounds and I'm having trouble keeping up! lol Last night, me and Gianna went to see Bohemian Rhapsody and I cannot tell you how great it was! The acting, music (of course!) and the overall script and direction. Really, very well done!!
I mean, it was also quite sad and I couldn't stop thinking about Freddy Mercury's story all night. Definitely worth seeing!
Today, I'll be working on our continued effort to award our growing list of Vegan Approved restaurants and vendors. So, far, we have awarded over 200 such destinations, with so many more to go! There is a nor'easter in the forecast for the New York area for tomorrow, which remains to be seen. But, if it does touch down on us, I will be sitting home with plenty of time to work. I'll also be preparing a big batch of butternut squash (vegan) risotto for the troops. In any event, we shall see. Came across this article by Lyndsey Matthews in Afar Magazine today - tell me what you think? If you are from New York, do you agree with her suggestions. Why You Should Go to New York City This Winter read more. One suggestion of her's that I do agree with is a visit to Williamsburg, Brooklyn! So much to do and so much to see.
There's Domino Park and it's amazing views of NYC, Dunwell Donuts and Vinnie's Pizza to name a few of us cousins' favorites. But, in addition, the neighborhood also boasts a number of wine bars, its own brewery,Brooklyn Brewery , vintage stores and an opportunity to bike ride across the famous Williamsburg Bridge!!
And speaking of Brooklyn, me and my girlies will be there this coming Sunday for another dose of the Vegan Market at the Market Hotel!! We will be stocking up on good eats and desserts for Thanksgiving next week and eating ourselves into oblivion for the second month in a row! That's about it folks. So sorry that Tanya is having trouble with her wifi. We'll catch you all up on her China trip when she returns!! Have a good one!! -Travelin' Elisa xoxo |
