Elisa's Christmas Daycation in The Big Apple Itinerary
Hey there! Anyone know what day it is? lol
I'm a bit thrown off with the three-day weekend we just had. We got right back into the routine this morning - me making eggs, assembling lunches and getting the girlies off to their respective schools. And boy, is it raining today!! The downpour started last night and has not stopped. It's extremely peaceful, as I sit here with my hot lemon water and honey writing my blog with my sweet Punkin snoozin' next to me!
I got a great deal accomplished around the house this weekend and yesterday, while Gianna was doing her homework, Kelsey and I decided to head over to the mall for some "window shopping."
Well, that didn't turn out as we had planned - we made a great many purchases!! I must say, however, we managed to get a great deal for what we paid. Kelsey got a new winter coat and I treated myself to a cute fall jacket. We both found a skirt and top respectively. An overall dress for Kelsey and a blouse for me. All that for $165, which I thought was great. My girl also had a gift card for Bath & Body Works, for which she treated herself to two seasonal candles. So, all in all, it was a very productive shopping day.
As we dined on our yummy dinner of burgers (vegan), beans and salad, we decided to watch You've Got Mail with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks - one of my favorite romantic comedy movies!!
However, the most productive part of my day was yet to come! I finalized my itinerary for our Christmas Daycation in The Big Apple next month.
Let me share it with you!!
So excited! Cannot wait - so much to see and enjoy, and, of course, EAT!!! -Travelin' Elisa xoxo |
