Well guess what we had today on Long Island and throughout New York City??? The first snowflakes of the season!!! Ok, so it was literally just some flurries mixed with lots of wind, but it does certainly bring home the fact that Winter is upon us!
One thing is for sure - tomorrow when Kelsey and I go into NYC to see Little Shop of Horrors, we are going to encounter some chilly weather. According to the weather forecast, the temps are supposed to go as low as the high 20's!
I just love taking the train into Manhattan - it's just so convenient. No dealing with traffic or the cost of tolls and parking AND it's pretty darn dependable when it comes to scheduling. We will be thinking long and hard as to whether to brave the cold or just suck it up and drive. I'll keep you posted on our decision. In travel news...
