Dress up Fun for ALL
I'm kinda in SHOCK over here that it's already November 1st!!!
Obviously it's the day after Halloween and in just a sec here you'll be able to see that we had all types of fun with our characters of choice!
Dave and I along with Cosette and Goldie decided to do a group thang and try our luck at the gang from Scooby Doo!
We had wanted Dominic to join us, but instead of being Shaggy he decided to be "Flaky" and go with the character of his choice and channel Jack Sparrow of Pirates of the Caribbean (played by the actor Johnny Depp). Jet (who was a leopard) did his make-up as he transformed into the Rum lovin' Pirate Captain.
And if you know Dave then you know that all he needs to do is put on a wig and he immediately becomes the character - last night it was Fred Jones as he wore the yellowist wig that I've ever seen!
Then there was Cosette as Scooby who might be spoiled for all future Halloween's as she chose a cute and rather comfortable onesie!
We had a Spidergirl and Venom duo.
A cheerleader and jungle girl with a few of her jungle friends. Her mom (Jet) was a Leopard and her dad (Andrew) a Sloth. We also had a character from Game of Thrones - but since I don't watch the show I really have no clue who she was!
Khanny, Skip, Matt, and Michael all came along for the fun though costumeless.
And once we were back home we managed to pose for a few more pics before coming out of character and packing the costumes away.
While most people wake up with a Halloween hangover, we woke up with a great amount of excitement knowing that we would soon be on our way to Sedona, AZ.
This is our 16th trip of 2017 and also one of the last. But let's keep in mind that we are now in November and that our trip numbers all reset in 2018 :)
So we'll be listening to game 7 during part of our 7ish hour drive and still rooting for the Houston Astros to win!
And how crazy is the weather in SoCal?
DID YOU KNOW: Just last week it was 103F degrees for the first pitch of the game and tonight it was 68F degrees. A 35F degree difference. Can you believe that?!
That's all for now folks. I'll see ya back here from Sedona!
