Back home from Bermuda and Baltimore

Hiya folks!!

Well we made it back home late last night after a long journey by sea and over water across the Atlantic and then over another 2,200 miles in the air... It was actually a rather bumpy ride up there!        Those speed bumps in the sky were everywhere. lol

But alas here I am... At least for a few days! 

We had a lovely time on our voyage to and from Bermuda, as well as the time we spent in Baltimore. 

As planned Dave had been eager to visit and tour the USS Constellation.

• The USS Constellation  is  a sloop-of-war, and the last sail-only warship designed and built by the United States Navy.
• She remained in service for close to a century before finally being retired in 1954.
• She is now preserved as a museum ship in Baltimore, Maryland, and is a National Historic Landmark.

And since Dave had a postage stamp with the USS Constellation on it, he had a purpose... To go, visit, tour, get a post card and send it off with that very stamp affixed to it!

We were on a quest and I was gonna make it happen for my dear Dave!

In fact before arriving back into the Baltimore Port, that was all we had on our schedule for the day.

So knowing me, of course I had to fill in the day with more!!

I had an idea...

Being the baseball fan that I am, I love touring ballparks and since Camden Yards (Orioles Ballpark) is pretty much right in the heart of the city. It was a given. 

And since the weather was calling for afternoon showers, it made much more sense to tour the ballpark first - although tours are not subject to rain cancellation, my picture taking does become rather limited in a downpour! LOL

Speaking of pictures, please note that this pictures that I'm uploading now were taken with my phone and are just place holders until I can bop on here later today or tomorrow to fill in the blanks - fill in lots of blanks that I have over the past week!

I've got plenty of running around to do today and lots to catch up with. No rest for the weary. LOL
