Forecast: Mellow Weekend
Well Howdy Folks!
I'm on my way out to take Dominic to his morning classes and we'll probably also stop for nice little breakfast at Green Bliss Cafe. Where you can find THE BEST ACAI BOWLS - read review HERE.
It sure has been a while since we've been in town on a Saturday and had the opportunity to get on over there, so it'll be a nice treat!
Later on this evening the kids also have a performance for the Make a Wish Foundation, and then we might go to the movies afterward - if not then we'll go tomorrow.
As far as yesterday went, well I did in fact take Cosette to the stables, but Jet had decided to pass on the outing and opt for a rain check next week.
This angle sure make Dream look tiny!
It was quite hot and the flies were annoying as ever. But that certainly didn't stop Cosette from working with Dream, and training her new commands. Never realized that I had a little horse trainer for a daughter! And Dream just adores Cosette and glows whenever she visits. There is such a love/bond between these two!
I was also quite happy to continue and pretty much finish the planning of my road trip to the 2015 MLB All-Star Game - which begins the DAY after I return from Europe!
Another thing I'll touch base with you on is my upcoming visit to Oslo - the beautiful capitol of Norway and the Greenest International City.
I'll be going into more detail with you about all of this super fun stuff on Travelin' Tuesday!
And although it is SHOPPIN' SATURDAY, I probably did enough shopping online this week (is there ever enough?!). So be sure to take a peek and check out the super cool information that Elisa has posted today about the "local" Handmade Soap company HILL MAIL ORDER COMPANY that is out on Long Island, and has the most adorable vegan soaps, bath and body products! Look at those pictures, they are just lovely! She also provided a link that you can pick up your own little goodies from!
Before I go for the day, I wanted to ask if you had a chance to read this weeks FOODIE FRIDAY featuring The Raven Restaurant in Mendocino? Check it out HERE.
And lastly, I found this super cool and fun sounding Doggie event that was yesterday and today - had I found it earlier I would've definitely had it listed on W2GW, but as the saying goes...better late than never! Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge taking place in Huntington Beach!
Ok don't forget to VOTE for us and I'll see ya back here tomorrow! -T

Greetings from Remsenburg, Long Island!
Are you as happy as I am that today is Saturday? Whew! This week felt long even though it was a 4 day work week.
I'm out east today as Kelsey has her riding lesson today. Gianna took the ride with us as well and decided to just hang out at the barn with Kelsey, Sarah and all the horsies.
There's no doubt it's been a weekend of "Horses" with Gianna and Kelsey on Long Island and Cosette in SoCal -- these kids love horses and riding as much as their moms love traveling!
I had a very leisurely ride this morning, although we were running a bit late since I was exhausted this morning and decided to steal an extra 30 minutes of sleep. Big mistake because we arrived at the barn 15 minutes late. Yikes!
It all worked out in the end.
Today, Dream Come True Farm, where the kids ride, was hosting some local Long Island vendors for a Spring Market Sale.
I LOVE Local businesses and patronizing independent entrepreneurs!!
I was so excited to walk around and see what kind of shopping I could do!

What's so wonderful about the day and age we currently live in is that with the internet, the reach of any local business is limitless!!
Hill Mail Order Company has a lovely website from which anyone can browse and purchase these creatively designed bath products.
I was stoked to see that a great deal of the products were vegan!! (Hint, Hint Tanya!)
Let me tell you a few things about the products: First, the FLAVORS and SMELLS were mouth watering! I snatched up 4 Vegan Soaps - Viva La Juicy, Bermuda Breeze, Black Raspberry Vanilla and Lemongrass. It was hard to narrow down my decision because I couldn't stop smelling everything on display!
Secondly, the ARRAY was very EXTENSIVE!! The soaps alone came in bars, and shapes including adorable cupcake soaps, wrapped up beautifully in cupcake wrappers!
I was familiar with Bath Bombs, which you drop in the tub and they fizz, letting off a lovely aroma while you relax in the tub. But, today I became familiar with "Shower Bombs." (which you know I purchased!). Unlike the bath versions, you simply place these in the corner of your shower, sprinkle a little water on them and let the aroma take you away.
I also purchases a delectable smelling "Bubble Bath" Exfoliating Shower Gel. I literally wanted to eat it!
Third, the pricing was so reasonable. Four bar soaps for $20. And most other products were under $10.
Lastly, I just love the Handmade Hangtags and labels, which detail all ingredients contained in each item.
Hill Mail Order has been in business since 1991 and in 2005 they began making handmade artisan soaps. As of 2013 the company began offering their Natural Luxury Artisan Soap’s, Bath & Body products to wholesale customers.
All of their natural luxury soaps, bath & body products are made by hand with the finest, fresh & local ingredients by their Artisans.
I visited the website when I got back home and was blown away by just how extensive the product offering is! CLICK HERE to see for yourself.
Great gifts for graduation and end of year teacher's gifts!!
Well, here's wishing you a lovely day! See ya back here tomorrow!! -E xoxo
