Hump Day Already?? I was totally draggin' yesterday after the three-day weekend. I didn't even walk!!! That is not good. Today, I'm back into my "Forest Gump" mode and hitting the pavement for at least two to three miles. Last night when Tanya and I were texting, I checked my email and received very exciting news - one of my travel blog post articles was picked up by Ezines.com, an internet publisher! I can't tell you how delighted we both were! If you haven't already read Dromoland Castle: Falconry, Archery and Family Fun on Travelin' Cousins, you can also read it on the Ezines site along with a picture of yours truly! We will be sharing more great news about Travelin' Cousins' articles featured on a variety of other internet travel and foodie sites!! Today I also started my day off with a purchase of tickets to the new Broadway show, "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical"!! I love the theatre and average at least a show a month. We will be adding a special tab to our site for Broadway Show reviews for all you theatre buffs!! We are working hard to make our site interactive and useful for you, our readers. Please visit our Contact page and definitely Reach out and say hello!! We really want to hear your comments and thoughts on what is currently featured and suggestions for bringing you more of what you are interested in reading about!!! Check out our List of Lists and take a gander at the huge list of sites we have compiled for our New Mexico Road Trip! This, unfortunately, will have to be whittled down, but, getting all the options down is how we begin our trip planning! Happy Hump Day!! -E Funny quote of the day: "In America, there are two classes of travel - first class and with children." - Robert Benchley | And it just keeps getting better! What an exciting week it has already been! And it's only Wednesday - on a week that started on Tuesday! So technically is really like a Tuesday for all intents and purposes. I was really all over the place yesterday - a serious case of ADD! I felt like I was starving almost all day yesterday, not exactly news worthy - but coming back after a foodie trip will definitely do that to me. So much to do, so much to be excited by. And it doesn't help when both Elisa and I are totally obsessive! We get on heads stuck on something and that's it - total OCD!!! Seems for once it's a really a good thing and really working out incredibly well for us! Then at some time last night I got a text from Elisa. She had sent me an email and then a text asking if I saw the email - I hadn't yet because I was obsessing over another item. She had just found out that her Dromoland blog was published on Ezines.com (**jumping for joy and sending many virtual hugs to Elisa). How completely & totally cool is that?!!! This is where I insert a quick greeting "Hi" to any and all new readers that have come over from Ezines!! "We welcome you and really hope you'll subscribe and keep coming back for more!" It was so nice to check a few things off of my to do list of lists. I booked the last 3 nights on our NM road trip. The ones that are on my trip back to Anaheim. I was also shopping around for Dave's Philly airfare, as well as accommodations for Vegas over Labor Day weekend which will be only 2 days after getting back from 3 weeks away on the UK trip! Whew...maybe I'll try and chill out by the pool on that trip?! I know the kids will be excited about that! Which brings me back to sweating - I've gotta go get my workout on (I guess both Elisa and I decided to take yesterday off). I need to go pump some iron! So that when the day comes that I am laying out by the pool, I can happily wear one of my new super cute bikinis! You gotta just do it! What is "it"? Whatever YOU want "it" to be! -T |
