Tanya's Daily ScoopIsland TimesHi there! Greetings again from Santa Catalina Island! What a fun weekend it has been... Yesterday was the Gran Fondo, and after 21+ miles of mountain biking I can say that I woke up with a rather sore butt today! Yup I wrote that and you read that. But actually I went to sleep with a sore butt as well. The ride was a lot of fun, but there was also a lot of work, sweat and tears to put in...ok no tears, but it just sounded more dramatic! The weather was fantastic! Which is my book means that it was not too HOT. I pushed and pedaled from the get go and got it done! I will be writing a full page review on the fun and gory details for you to read, laugh at, enjoy, and share on Monday! More on the weekend in tomorrows SCOOP. I'm having to much fun and keeping too busy to tell you about it right now! LOL Catch back here with all the details on Monday! -T | Elisa's Daily ScoopBirthday Celebration WeekendHello Hello! Happy Sunday my Peeps! I'm sorry I've been MIA several days this past week. It was a very difficult week with the loss of my Liberty and the affect that had on my entire family. It will be a week tomorrow since we had to say goodbye to my sweet fur baby. I am able to smile more and even laugh without feeling guilty. I'm starting to feel as if she is truly with me in spirit and always will be and that her soul is safe and happy and she is running around like a puppy over the Rainbow Bridge! So, let me tell you about my family "Birthday" weekend! I had 3 Birthdays to celebrate! Gianna's 11th and Dad's 80th were yesterday and today is Rebecca's 25th!! We had quite a busy weekend! Friday night we went out for a family dinner to celebrate all three! We had a great time - I was amazed at how big everyone is getting!! My nephew Nolan, who is 12 is taller than all the women in the family now!! Denise and her family came to join in the celebration as well!! Yesterday was a continuation of the Birthday events. I took Gianna out with a few of her friends to dinner at Season's 52 and then to the movies to see Pitch Perfect 2. The biggest surprise of all was that my friend Lisa drove all the way from Hampton Bays to bring Sarah to join us and surprise Gianna!! Gianna was so thrilled to see Sarah!!! Thank you Lisa for adding such a wonderful surprise for my girl's 11th Birthday!! Now, I never saw Pitch Perfect 1, but I truly enjoyed Pitch Perfect 2!!! It was funny, musical and the kids loved it!!! Well, today is Rebecca's 25th and I'd like to wish her a special and amazing birthday!!! See you back here tomorrow!! -E xoxo |
