Mother's Day Recap
Happy Day after Mother's Day!! lol.
I signed on to write my scoop and was pleasantly surprised to see that Tanya had already uploaded pics from her lovely day yesterday.
Me, on the other hand was rushing around like a chicken without a head and hardly took any pictures whatsoever and I'm rushing off now.
Per my blogs last week, this week is HORRIFIC for things to do - mostly with the kids' school. Band concert tonight, Play rehearsal every day till 5, Social Studies Fair Thursday, and the school play, The Little Mermaid, on Friday night.
Today, there are showings for my house, so in between food shopping and cleaning my house, I also have a few errands to run for the kids.

I'll put up some pictures later of the absolutely beautiful gifts that my girls made me.
Gianna made me a gorgeous scrapbook with pictures and sentiments that had me in tears. Kelsey made me a frame and drew me one of her artistic creations - of me! Haven't had a chance to take a photo.
Then yesterday, I forgot my camera! What a loser.
But, we did manage to take one photo at brunch with Aunt Ro.
Unfortunately, my mom cancelled on me at the last minute, having slipped and hurt her shoulder, so we didn't get to have dinner.
But, the rest of the day was really nice and relaxing!
Ok guys - I have a bunch to do - I owe you an article today, which will be going up rather late, so I'll link it tomorrow!!
Hope it's a great Monday for you all!!!

Mother's Day in a nutshell
It's a new week folks!
Tons for me to do today (luckily I've already done some of it). And then we head out tomorrow en-route to Europe!
YIKES! I'm not quite 100% ready. I've been so busy with everything that I still have a few loose ends that I wanted to have organized before tomorrows departure.
Since yesterday was Mother's Day, I was fortunate enough to not really have much to do, which gave me plenty of time to get things done! LOL
Isn't that funny how that worked out?!
I started off my day with trying to locate a pair of missing shoes. LOL I have a cute new pair of shoes that I planned on packing and then when the time came to pack them - well I couldn't find them. But I found them yesterday and they were practically right under my nose!
I also had a pair of pants in mind that I wanted to toss into my luggage that again, I wasn't 100% sure where they were hiding. I had an idea and they weren't in the first spot, but I found them in the second one! Whew.
Then it was off to the nail salon for a nice mani/pedi. I opted for subdued colors and went for a light ballet pink on my fingers and a light mauve/gray for my toes.
Then it was back home for a DELISH brunch with the fam bam and to organize my packed outfits into days - there is no deciding what to wear when I travel. Everything is already picked out and put into outfits prior to departure.

The kids walked in on me while I was busy organizing and handed me a present! Oh how I love gifts!!!

And then after a bit, we had all headed to one of the nicest Armstrong garden shops that we have ever been to (hence why we keep returning!).

Then we headed to Kean Coffee in Tustin to enjoy some hot and cold coffee drinks before heading to the movie theatre to see Overboard.
And while I've seen the original, I hadn't seen any previews about this one. It turned out to be a very cute movie that we all enjoyed.
Back home for dinner we went and that was my Mother's Day in a nutshell.
